For you lurkers and newbies, a brief encyclopedia definition of a "Ranma
Loony"

The _Ranma Loony_ (Lunaticus Ranmus):  Any member of the primate genus
Otakus with an affinity towards Ranma 1/2, and an insane streak.  Ranma
Loonies, or Runies as zoologists have nicknamed them, are distinguished
from other primates by their abnormal brains and erratic, but often
augmented intelligence, their medium size, and their typical lack of
tails(although some exceptions have been noticed. They are mainly
vegetarian, but occasionally eat pizza.  All share an aversion to the
cooking of Akane Tendo.

The Runies most distinguishing characteristic is the ability to reproduce
spontaneously (called "doubling")  This most peculiar ability is most
likely an evolutionary trait to inflate numbers, and increase intimidation
as a defense mechanism.  A process with a similar effect is the use of
"faceless minions"  to fill out numbers.

The MadPunks, of New Zealand, show great skill in "hammerspacing"; that
is, they make objects appear rapidly, using their hands to grab them and
use them. On the ground, they often balance themselves with their arms and
walk upright. The more advanced Heavensruns, in Central America, are also
hammerspacers, but also bear the ability to "morph" or take whatever form
they wish.  This implies a very dangerous ability. The social unit of the
Heavensrun consists of two males.  They are famous for their do-or-die
attitude towards chasing females, and thus tend to be either feared or
admired by their female counterparts.  They bear a particular devotion to
the Kun-chans.

XThe exotic Kun-chans—the most devious of all Runies—are found in
Australia.  They serve Ryoga, especially to nest at night, but are still
much less agressive than Heavensruns. The Kun-chans exist in pairs.  Their
own particular talent, known as @bapping, is a deadly ability when used by
the extremely agressive Kun-chans.  The Runy subspecies Phlandarb was all
but wiped out by this fearsome trait.

The Heavensruns, MadPunks, and Kun-chans, collectively known as the
Akanites, tend to provoke confrontations with other groups, particularly
Shampooites. They have the greatest intelligence of all Runies, and can
use complex tools, such as phasers and cloning devices.

Kenji:  A subspecies of Runies with a like of Okonomiyaki chefs, but a
dislike of Okonomiyaki.  Kenji's do not have the same tendancy towards
cloning as most Runies, Instead preferring to remain singular, and use
their reproductive abilities to replace themselves, should something
happen to the original.  Their social structure varies from the
Heavensruns in their lack of sexual agression.  Females are definitely
dominant in Kenjis.  Kenji's are typically carnivorous, but share the
taste for pizza and popcorn that seems to be consistant among Runies.
