STEVE The Confused Young Something-or-Other of the Fire Contact Info: Steven Scougall, s_scougall@hotmail.com AIM: S Scougall ICQ: 2738087 Full name: Steven Scougall "Place" in GRIT: She's a waitress at Zuni's, one of Ranma's students at the Saotome-Tendo dojo, is One of the Two to Carry on the Fire (along with her sister Ann), and is probably the Guardian of the Fire or something like that (whew) Seiyuu: (Female form) Kotono Mitsuishi (Male form) Matsumoto Yasunori Theme Song: "176th St", King of Fighters 99 Arraged Sound Track; or "Particle Man", by They Might Be Giants; or "Cross Fire", by Ichirou Mizuki and H. Kageyama, from Demon Prince Zenki. (Take your pick. ^_^) Residence: At Zuni's, above the restaurant ----- Height: 165 cm (5'5") (in both forms) Weight: 55 kg / 121 lb (Female form) 65 kg / 145 lb (Male form) Eyes: Dark brown Hair: Brown, very long (ie, bum-length), messy and disarrayed, with a natural part in her bangs above her left eye. It's always worn in a ponytail. Birthday: 30th November, age 23 Blood Type: O Curse: Unless you count the Fire, none. Other: Technically half-dragon. She looks mostly human, but tends to have pointed ears and small fangs. When in full half-dragon form, she has sharper features, is leaner, and has two big red feathered wings on her back. She has a minor empathic link with Ann that only works when the two are close by and Ann is feeling strong emotions. Clothing: Her Standard Outfit (TM) is a grey (or greyish) short sleeved collared men's shirt a bit too big for her, dark pants or jeans, and comfy sneakers. Personality: When she saw Incense starting to dissolve in front of her eyes (in the "The Princess, the Avatar, and the Handyman" thread), Steve was horrified. She'd never even wanted the fight against Incense in the first place, yet she ended up almost killing the Dragon Princess. Sure it was accidental, but it never should have happened in the first place. She was absolutely disgusted with herself and wanted to get as far away as possible from her old self. Staying in female form seemed like a good start. She's still basically nice, friendly, helpful, slow to anger, and a loyal friend, if a little weird sometimes. However she is trying very hard not to be too silly, crazy and, above all, impulsive like she used to be. This is proving difficult as she is still very much her old self, just in a different package, so to speak. She's never been any more intimate than being friends with people, and is almost completely antisexual anyway. It's not that she's a prude, she just doesn't feel the need to bother all that much, and she also believes she's 'damaged goods' and nobody would be interested in her anyway. (Trying to convince her otherwise will be an uphill battle.) She's starting to accept the Fire and her place in it, and suspects she may end up as some sort of Guardian / Avatar of the Fire. Because of a bad history with demons, she doesn't like them very much. However continued association with Ryuji is showing her not *all* demons are bad. She no longer attacks demons on sight. Despite the fact that many of the people she knows are only part human or in some cases not human at all (Kaishi for example) Steve is having a lot of trouble getting to grips with her current half-dragon form. She's starting to think that 'Steve' isn't an entirely appropriate name. (Don't worry, this'll be addressed in an upcoming thread.) Identifying quote: - "That's a long and complicated story." - (Bringing hand up to behind her head, sweatdropping) "Aheh." - "Life is like a box of chocolates - there's always a really horrible one that's been nibbled on and left in the box. No, really."
