RARION Contact Info: Blade, kumonryuu@hotmail.com AIM: Kiima Full Name: If there's more, he's not telling. Occupation: Intinerant Martial Artist/Psychic, Ginseng's housekeeper Residence: Rarion usually resides at Ginseng's cottage in China, a place with much the same qualities as his apartment. Of late he has been travelling with the GRITers. Height: 6'0" Weight: 182 lbs. Eyes: Blue Hair: Blue, with a ponytail Birthday: August 9th Blood Type: AB Curse: None Clothing: Rarion generally wears "samurai robes"; a gi and hakama much like Kunou Tatewaki. A katana is ever by his side. Personality: Since Rarion talks like a Shakespearian character, wears a "samurai outfit" and reeks arrogance, it is easy to dismiss him as a fairly harmless ego-bloated buffoon. Don't be fooled. There is a keen mind behind all that blustering verbosity. Rarion is arrogant because he knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is one of the most powerful warriors on the planet, and holds the unofficial title of Ginseng's foremost student. He is not, however, arrogant to the point of imbecility. Rarion knows his own strengths and weaknesses better than anyone, and is exruciatingly aware that there are people more powerful than he. He just intends to surpass them all. Rarion is cooly formal with most people; though if anyone rubs him the wrong way, he can trade sarcastic barbs with the best of them. In any given situation, he expects the most qualified person to take the lead. If that isn't him, he will follow their instructions without hesitation. But if he considers himself the most qualified person in a given situation, he expects the same unquestioning obedience, and is honestly surprised if he doesn't get it. Rarion is a low-level psychic; though he can't read minds, he has some empathic ability and can sense very strong images or concepts in another's mind. People obviously being ruled by their emotions, though, make him very uncomfortable, and he is likely to respond by trying to pursuade somebody else to handle the situation. He is very suspicious of Blade and anybody obviously friendly towards his rival. Aside from his telekinetic and martial arts abilities, Rarion boasts a wide variety of sometimes surprising skills. For one, he is an extremely skilled cook, something he takes secret pride in. He is also a scholar, with fairly thorough knowledge on such topics as the supernatural, martial arts theory, and the history of China. Rarion isn't really a bad person; he just tries to think entirely in cold logic, which rubs a lot of people the wrong way, particularly if he starts pointing out their character or combat flaws (something he expects them to be appreciative of). Travelling with the chaotic and unpredictable Nerimans at Ginseng's request has been illuminating and somewhat disturbing for him. Identifying Quotes: "Hmph. I shalt ignore thine uncultured comments, boor." "Fool, thou wouldst dare trifle with the foremost student of the great master Ginseng?"
