LOTION Name: Lo Shin Player: Chris McNeil, (Parenthesis indicate cursed form; a falcon) Agility: ***** (****) Power: *** (*) Endurance: *** (*1/2) Speed: **** (****) Strategy: ****1/2 Cunning: **** Energy: ****** (-) Skills: Mien Ch'uan: Novice Freestyle Kick and Punch: Apprentice "Bird fighting": Novice/Apprentice Psychological Warfare: Disciple Dirty Tricks: Champion Attitude: Lo Shin is naturally enthusiastic and agressive, but is being taught to temper that in favour of the clinical precision of Mien Ch'uan. She'll start out a match using the highly defensive style she is learning, but should a fight become heated she will quickly revert to an agressive, somewhat undisciplined approach. This switch may actually work to her advantage, as those who haven't fought her before are likely to be thrown off by the sudden change in style. She will, like her brother, use psychological warfare, boobytrapped battlefields, and all manner of underhanded tricks...but because she has not learned to appreciate the values of tact and APPEARING somewhat honourable that her brother has, she tends to be even less inhibited. On the other hand, she lacks Tarou's cold-blooded viciousness, and is very unlikely to attempt to kill an opponent. Powers: In cursed form, Lo Shin can fly, has sharp talons and a beak which she is attempting to learn to use more effectively, and possesses incredibly good eyesight. Techniques: None. Lo Shin emulates her brother's disdain for the "useless fireworks" of ki attacks, despite the fact she has considerable potential in them. Striving to be a perfect Mien Ch'uan artist, she even refuses to use his bracer bars or any other weapon. Weaknesses: For her age, Lo Shin is a very good fighter, but in GRIT terms she's quite weak. She intuitively senses the awe and fear accorded to her big brother by many GRITers and wishes to gain some of her own reputation, certainly to impress him, but also in a competitive sense of "showing him what I'm made of". This can lead to her getting over her head, especially given her stubborn refusal to accept help or defeat.
