LINK Name: Link RL: Blade E-mail: kumonryuu@hotmail.com AIM: Kiima ----- RANK & TRAITS Rank: 2 --- Attributes Agile+ Weak --- Skills Teamwork+ (with Pink only) Martial Arts- ----- ATTITUDE Style: Link doesn't know any style; like her sister, she bases what she knows off of movies, and it is thus pathetic enough to be laughable. --- Methods: Link tries to avoid physical combat altogether if she can help it, preferring to strike at a distance with some of her giant plants. Unlike her sister, she doesn't feel the need to constantly gloat about this. ----- SPECIALS Advantanges: Standard Martial Arts Abilities. Link has control over plants; she can cause them to grow from seeds to giant sized mutated monstrosities with a little water and a few seconds of concentration. Link is an excellent herbalist; she can concoct antidotes for virtually any poison or sickness in a matter of moments. Of course, the flip side is she can also MAKE a lot of poisons, or grow poisonous plants, for use as attacks, although her sister is better than her in this area. --- Disadvantages: She's a wimp, with virtually no fighting ability whatsoever. Most, if not all, of the GRIT fighters could easily clean her clock. Link is dependant on her sister; they fight as two halves of a whole, and without Pink's aggressive backup, Link is fairly ineffectual. --- Techniques Link has access to a grandiose variety of plants and herbs to aid her. Some of the things she is known to use are: Mandragora Root: One of her more potent weapons, this is a spore which, when exposed to water, will quickly sprout on the nearest solid object (including the clothes of people). The roots resemble human figures, and are poisonous. When pulled out, they give off a terrifying scream which will knock anyone who can hear (ie, isn't wearing earplugs, deaf, or covering their ears in anticipation) unconscious. The victim will die of poisoning if not treated (and are obviously unable to help themselves). Herbal Patches: Pink throws black patches at the opponent, which adhere via natural glues. Link then throws white patches (which also adhere) at any nearby martial artists...when they instinctively raise their fists to block, the white patches adhere. Once adhering, the two types of patches strongly attract each other, which makes for the victim being quickly punched out by the other martial artists. Good Housewife Herbs: Another duo attack, Pink and Link each toss out a different type of flower at an opponent's head. If they stike, they adhere there and force the victim to act in the role of a perfect housewife (gender and quite possibly species is irrelevent to this effect). Jungle Spores: By sowing spores over a vacant lot, Pink and Link caused a entire jungle to spring up in moments. This jungle also gave off a poisonous miasma (think Nausicaa). Cage Plant: They grew a cage with naturally electrifyed bars; it also had poisonous puffballs at the top to discourage attack. Ultimate Herb Attack: Seeds placed on an opponent's body. If not quickly removed (and they are hard to notice), they sprout after a few minutes into writhing tentacles. The tentacles attack the person they are sprouting from (virtually impossible to stop; even Ranma could only stop them from biting him for a few moments) and when they succeed in biting, inject a poison that puts the victim into endless sleep. There is an antidote to the coma, though whether anybody but Link knows it is doubtful. And these are only examples. Basically, Pink and Link's plants are limited only by your imagination and a bit of common sense (ie, no, they can't grow a dimensional cannon made of plants). They almost always grow supernaturally fast, and normally only need either water or some sort of other stimulus to grow to maturity.
