F Rank - 12) Heavy Weapons Specialist Small Arms Operation Marksmanship Mobile Suit Operation Standard MADM Abilities ----- ATTITUDE Style: New Type Combat Training: With the advent of the formulation of a branch of NT combat units within the Federation, careful attention was payed in training soldiers in hand-to-hand combat and arms training while utilizing the latent powers of NT soldiers. Soldiers are trained in the arts of Jeet Kune Do and Karate to utilize speed and strength in attacks. Weapons training was put to the test as soldiers are trained to use heavy and small arms for combat situations. --- Methods: Showing bravery under fire, Kai is one to jump into battle to face his combatants in order to allow his comrades to escape harm. He utilizes his weaponary as if in a war-type situation though he is more than up to par to fight hand to hand. ----- SPECIALS Advantages: As an NT soldier, Kai has beyond perfect aim with any of the armaments that he knows how to use. His abilities allow him to predict and detect the movement and attack patterns of his combatants before they even make such a move though his abilities only allow him to detect projectile fighting rather than predicting hand to hand fighting movements. As standard issue equipment, he always wear's his infantry heavy armor suit which does reduce his speed a notch but protects him from most standard attacks by MADMs of rank 6 or higher. Though not to the same master ability level as J2, Kai can easily master and use different firearms should he come into contact with them. --- Disadvantages: As said before, his NT abilities primarily allow him to detect and predict the movements of projectile style combat (guns, mecha etc.) so he becomes extremely handicapped by quick fighters or extremely skilled fighters. He has yet to access his latent powers as per standard GRITlaw of chi usage and whatnot which does make him weaker than most fighters. His armor suit is strong...but as mentioned, it blocks most "standard" attacks. Steve or Jei could probably make short work of him with their special abilities which are to say, not standard. So when it comes down to chi attacks and fire-related abilities, he can block a good number of attacks in general for combat 6 fighters but that number drops exponentially with stronger fighters. --- Techniques Kai does not really possess techniques at this time. The following are weapons that he uses in combat. Beam Saber (MSFW-001) - The standard in NT weaponary and the first advances made by Anaheim Electronics technicians in micronizing the weapon of choice for mobile suit pilots. The toned down version of the weapon still boasts the same mechanical schematics as full size versions but have a coolant system in the handle that allows the weapon from overheating so that human hands can use it for long durations of time. (Combat Strength - 6) Beam Rifle (MSFW-002) - The standard in medium to long range weaponary, this Minovsky particle rifle is a micronized version of the MS-size weapon with similar design shape and firepower type. The rifle can be used for a limited time before needing a recharge cartridge. (Combat Strength - 6+) Beam Buster Cannon (MSFW-010) - Where the standard weaponary cannot do the job, this big boy can more than handle the situation. By compressing Minovsky particles into a large mass, a concentrated beam energy can be formed to do devestating amounts of damage. This large rifle has only two charges before it becomes unstable after which it needs several hours to cool and be recharged. Extremely deadly if fired more than twice as it can explode and cause severe bodily damage. (Combat Strength - 7) Fin Funnels (AHX-891) - The pinnacle of NT technology, the fin funnels are a down-scaled version of the legendary fin funnel weaponary used by the RX-93 Nu Gundam unit, Quebeley MS, Sazabi MS and so forth. The funnels shoot out of the back of the armor suit and are initially in the shape of hand-sized cylinders that open up as gun pods that fire off bursts of beam energy. As per NT abilities, the user can direct each individual funnel to attack as if they were operated each by an individual user. (Combat Strength - 7)
