---------- JO Name: Jason-Akane-Original Tracewell Heavensrun RL: Jason Heavensrun E-mail: jeisanhr@aol.com AOLIM: JeisanHR ICQ# 31860410 ----- RANK & TRAITS Rank: 8 --- Attributes Agile Chi+ Magic Inexhaustable+ --- Skills Acrobatics Black magic - Chi powers Emotion-based Chi+ Martial arts Spritualist Magic + ----- ATTITUDE Style: Firewater Martial arts - Hand to hand is based on aikido, relying much on using opponents momentum against them. The Primary offensive power of Firewater martial arts is the mental discipline, which teaches the user to convert his anger into pure chi (see advantages). Ki techs are the main offensive strategy. --- Methods: Fights reluctantly at first, concentrating on defense and often looking for a way to stop the fight without violence, then as the heat of battle increases her will to fight grows exponentially. After the battle intensifies, Jo tends to batter her opponent with Ki techs while she contemplates a way to finish the battle for good... ----- SPECIALS Advatages: Anger channelling - Jo instinctively channels her anger into fighting ki, giving her a virtually limitless supply of energy for ki techs and allowing her to use her anger energy to increase her speed, strength, and focus, giving her higher precision and overall improving her abilities. Ki manipulation - Jo's FW techs give her an abundance of pure ki. As a result, she's capable of using ki techniques very effectively. Mamano-hunter Transformation - Jo can summon her Mamano Hunter ring at will and transform into her Devil Hunter form, which gives her enhanced abilities of a capacity depending on the ammount of evil power her opponent uses. Against opponents of pure evil, Jo can reach a second stage of transformation which enhances her abilities further. She can also force this transformation through force of will, but it drains her energy to sustain it without an evil foce to activate the ring's power. Spellcasting - In Mamano Hunter form, Jo can use a variety of spiritual and black magic spells and can summon her soulsword, a physical manifestation of her spirit. Standard Martial Arts Abilities --- Disadvatages: Demon's hair curse - If splashed with hot water, Jo will turn to his original male form, which is under a spell that causes his hair to grow extremely rapidly... This is dangerous because Jo can be immobilized quickly under the weight of his own hair if not careful. Temper - Jo is very overemtional, and when agitated, can act irrationally. Psi weakness - Jo spends the bulk of her willpower on controlling her anger. This leaves her very susceptable to subtle mental influences. However, more overt forms of mind control are much less effective. --- Techniques Haku-shio-mizu (Extending Salt Water) Emotion blast fueled by any strong emotion Jo has to draw on. Unique in it's versatility. It starts as a small sphere of energy and quickly expands outward to encompass a wide area. has more coverage then a shishi houkodan and is very difficult to avoid at close range. Nearly effortless to use, as are most emotion blasts, but does limited damage in comparison to Jo's other techs. Omizu no Jishin (Flood of self confidence) Takes a moment's concentration to release. A bright blue semi-transparent sphere that totally disperses Shishi Houkodans and other depression-related attacks. Feeds off of confidence and is a completely defensive move. Anyone caught in the sphere would take no physical damage, but would behave unusually egotistical for a short while until the affects wore off. Omizu no Ri (Flood of reason) Varient of the Omizu no Jishin. Designed to disperse hatred attacks. A bright blue opague sphere that completely disperses hatred blasts. Requires user to be clear of mind at the time of the attack. Anyone caught in the sphere would take no physical damage, but would be of lighter mood until the effects wore off. Tsuchi-Kawa-Ken (Earthly River Punch) Firewater Ki tech that draws from Jo's anger ki and channels it into the fist, propelling the user forward at high speed and sending an explosion of energy into the target on contact. The user glows with a flare of blue power just before and upon contact. The fist glows throught the entire move. Ten-Kawa-Kyaku (Heavenly River Kick) super-version of the tsuchi-kawa-ken, and takes significantly more power to pull off. It is similar to the first move in that the user glows with a flash of blue, but the glow lasts the duration of the move, and the burst of power at the end of the kick is much more powerful then the burst after the normal attack. ----------
