Learned as a method of survival. --- Methods: An untrained fighter, she throws herself in and gives her all, until she realizes that she's outclassed. Then usually she will either back out, or try to help someone else by serving as a distraction. ----- SPECIALS Advantages: Variety of guns, including pistols and rifle. Bowie knife used as a backup when the guns are ineffective. Rope that can be used as a whip or lasso in creative, rodeo-style roping Hellena's horse Matilda is trained to follow Hellena's command... hand signals, verbal cues (barking in cursed form). If Matilda is around during combat, Hellena might use Matilda, either by riding the horse or by giving the horse commands from a distance. Hellena will usually order Matilda to kick or trample the opponent. If Matilda is in her cursed form (kangaroo), Matilda will usually go into "fighting kangaroo" mode. Jusenkyo curse [pug dog form, though weaker (since she can't use a gun or lasso), is sometimes more effective than human form]. In her cursed form, she finds it easy to use her small size to trip people up. Or else she just bites them, often in inconvenient places. --- Disadvantages: Can't do much without her weapons, especially since most trained fighters are more powerful than the typical drunk cowboy. Most of the local martial artists probably wouldn't even feel one of her punches. Most people ignore her weapons. Some are even faster than her bullets. Or can hear the gun cocking. So a lot of times, her weapons become pretty useless. Completely untrained fighter. --- Techniques Lasso- Roping: Hellena is generally accurate when trying to lasso something. She will then try to hog-tie the lassoed opponent. Trick Roping: Hellena will try to confuse people by doing some stage type roping tricks. Whip: Hellena may use the rope from her lasso as a whip.
