Basically it covers everything, not concentrating on any particular area of fighting. Such specialisations are left to the user. --- Methods: She's not a very violent person and wants the fight over before it starts. However, if she's in a fight then she usually has a reason to stay until it's finished. In combat, she's extremely defensive, uses her teleportation and flight heaviliy, mainly to aid in defense, and uses long ranged moves extensively. If in a large-scale battle, she gravitates more towards a support and backup role. If transformed into pig form, she'll teleport out of the fight, and possibly return once she's transformed back to human. ----- SPECIALS Advantages: Standard Martial Arts Abilities - superleaping, faster than normal healing, and so on. Hammerspace Sensitivity - She's very sensitive to hammerspace, and has a constantly-switched-on awareness of it. What this effectively means is she can detect if Hammerspace is being used, in a very large area around her. Ki Sensitivity - She's developing sensitivity to people's ki and the ki around her. This can be used to detect the use of ki, and the movement of people nearby. This is basically just a souped up presence sense. She can also detect if a person's ki is Fire of the Dragon, normal, or 'other'. --- Disadvantages: Hammerspace Reliance - Her teleportation and even her flight, in a really arcane way even *I* have difficulty remembering these days, require hammerspace access. If hammerspace is not accessible for some reason then she can't use either. Fire Reliance - All her remote ki manipulation relies on the Fire of the Dragon being in the environment around her. If she was to somehow be in an area that had no Fire of the Dragon (extremely rare but not impossible), then she would not be able to use any of the long range remote moves she prefers, dropping her down to Rank 5 at best. Nonviolence - She's a very nonviolent person (but she still sometimes gets into fights anyway). This means that she's still hesitant to fight all out. This also means that she'll avoid using some techniques unless the situation really demands it. Out Of Practice - She relied heavily on the advantages her previous half- demoness nature gave her. However, now that she no longer has those advantages, she has to go back to her old skills... which have atrophied somewhat. She *is* training with Ranma to get over this problem, but it's going to take a while for her to get back up to speed. Until then, her martial arts skill is going to be low. This means she may make mistakes, not attack or block as fast as she could, is unused to straight hand-to-hand, and so on. Weak - She has low hitting power and can't take many hits. She can reduce these somewhat by using her ki to boost her strength and constitution, but it's still a problem. Jusenkyo Curse - Upon being splashed with cold water, she turns into a little piglet. In this form she's only about rank 1, but can still perform all her techniques. However, if splashed she tries to get out of the combat zone as fast as possible. She absolutely *refuses* to fight any of her friends - even if they've turned into a homicidal raving loony of the week. --- Techniques Ryuuenba (Dragon Flame Wave) Basic energy fireball fired from the hand. Size, speed, power and so on are easily modified - though the better the blast the more energy it takes. At her current power levels, Ann can fire a fast moving blast the size of a volleyball with little effort. Ryuuenda (Dragon Flame Strike) The user attacks with a normal strike (or block, or deflection), with an energy aura surrounding the attacking limb or weapon. Not only does the user connect with the strike, but also with the energy, and this does about as much damage and requires as much effort as a Ryuenba. Ann never calls out the name of the technique when doing this move. Chouryuuenba (Super Ki Wave) A large focussed beam of energy that the user fires from the hands. It's probably Ann's most powerful single ki-blast technique - it does huge amounts of damage, it travels very fast, and obliterates 'smaller' energy blasts. It requires a significant amount of energy for her to pull off, though, and can only be used several times in a fight. --- Rarely used techniques (These are techniques Ann only uses in serious fights) Hammerspace-teleportation With this technique, Ann puts *herself* into hammerspace, and then pops herself back out into a chosen destination in the normal GRIT world. Virtually instantaneous, so it looks very much like teleportation. Ann is VERY accurate and precise with this technique, and can go exactly where she wants to, if she knows where it is. She can take people along for the ride, just as long as they're touching her, or she's touching them. And she can do this extremely easily, with barely a thought. Flight Speaks for itself. She can fly continuously for about a day before she needs to rest. She can also use this to change trajectory on a jump in mid-air. Flight does not reduce the amount of power she has for other moves all that much. She only uses this against opponents who can also fly. Fire Throw Molds the Fire around a random object to give that object a good hard shove, usually at her opponent. Very easy to pull off, and is very frequently used in fights against 'bad guys'. Chouryuuenbashira (Super Dragon Flame Pillar) A trademark Dragonflame technique, where the user uses their Fire and ki in combination to affect both remote Fire and remote ki, and causes a large energy beam to fire from a remote source. This is usually from the ground to blast upwards. Incredibly useful and impossibly hard to avoid as there's no travel time to the target. This technique requires a moment or two of concentration to do, and the further away the target is, the harder it is to do. With the reduction in the amount of Fire in the world's environment, the Chouryuuenbashira is markedly less powerful than the Chouryuuenba. As it's not very strong, Ann usually uses this to do only off-balancing or distracting blows, and can perform such blasts without too much effort - usually at least thirty times in a fight before it starts to drain her.
