Magic Knight Task Force G-Ranger (Makenshi Sentai JIIRENJAA) Episode Guide v.1.0 Kuno Christoffel (deva@wizard.net) 01 - "Deadly Beginning! Does the Sign Exist in Your Heart?" A space fortress travels toward Earth. In her throne room, the Time/Space Emperor, Artemis, is giving orders to a henchman, BeastCzar Tarou. They are the Supernova Empire, which has conquered the West, East and South Universes, and now plans to conquer the North Universe, starting with Earth. However, they were struck a blow in their previous campaign when their Death God, Ares, was killed. On Earth, BeastCzar finds a lion and a tiger in a zoo and demonstrates his Hellvolution power, turning them into the monster Forzer Ligas. An alarm sounds at the headquarters of the Global Research into Invasive Technology (GRIT) organization. Ligas destroys a building and kills the soldiers that come out after him. GRIT commander Zephyr confronts the monster and lasts longer than the others, but it still defeated. However, he then transforms into a costumed hero, and introduces himself as the G-Ranger G-Fire. Now the two are evenly matched. When it looks like Ligas will be defeated, he breaks through the wall into a laboratory and absorbs energy from some tanks there, revitalizing himself. Zephyr is beaten, and he and GRIT Director Nabiki are forced to retreat in an underground shuttle while the base is destroyed. Nabiki begins to initiate GRIT's contingency plan. Four people around Tokyo each receive an invitation to come to the opening of Zuni's pizza restaurant. They are the temperamental, womanizing Jacen; cool loner Scott; pushy tomboy Ueki; and the overly feminine Konatsu. All four arrive at the restaurant, where Jacen falls head-over-heels for Konatsu while Scott and Ueki instantly hate each other. They all wonder why nobody else is there. Nabiki comes into the restaurant and announces that Zuni's is a front for GRIT's operations. She tells them that they were brought here because, during a meteor shower ten years ago, each of them was infused with "Majinergy", giving them elemental superpower. She gives each of them a handheld mini-computer called a Virtual G-Unit which they can use to transform into magic knights known as "G-Rangers". They are all skeptical until Zephyr enters and demonstrates it to them. When Zephyr transforms into G-Fire, Ligas is able to sense it, and he comes to attack Zuni's. The four youths are terrified by the monster. 02 - "Deadly Beginning! Arise, Magic Knight Task Force" Supernova's Forzer Ligas monster had destroyed the headquarters of GRIT, and is now attacking their secret base at the Zuni's pizza parlor. G-Fire fights the monster again, but his power is low and he is losing. Nabiki tells the others that they have to transform and help Zephyr, but they still don't believe it's possible. Only when it knocks Zephyr aside and comes after them do they transform. Jacen becomes Fire Red, Konatsu becomes Water Blue, Scott becomes Void Black, and Ueki becomes Earth Green. Upon seeing Konatsu in his skintight costume Jacen is horrified to discover that he is a man, while Scott tells Ueki that her butt is too big to go around dressed like that. With the five G-Rangers together, Ligas is easily driven away from Zuni's. They join their powers together into a Five-Element G-Ranger Burst attack, which leaves the monster on the brink of death. Seeing that Ligas is in trouble, BeastCzar summons a silly little devil called Growdai Demon Ryoko and dispatches her to Earth. She flies in a circle around Ligas while chanting "Growdai, Growdai, Growdai", and he is magically enlarged to the size of a building. The G-Rangers flee in terror as Ligas tries to step on them. Only Zephyr keeps his head, leaping up to the top of a nearby building and gathering his power. He calls down a fiery bird, Paradis Bird, which he guides while standing on its head. The other G-Rangers are amazed to see such a thing. Nabiki tells them that it is a "Mashin", the embodiment of G-Fire's Majinergy power. They all have their own Mashin, if they can learn to summon it. Paradis Bird kills Forzer Ligas, which goes down in a huge explosion. After the battle, Nabiki and Zephyr propose to the others that they stay at Zuni's, pretending to be waiters but actually working to protect the planet from Supernova. Scott initially blows them off, but when the others agree, he says he doesn't trust them to save Earth by themselves and joins too. 03 - "Deadly Fire! A Boy's Life" FireKaizer Scougall is summoned to Artemis' chambers. She orders him to use his Satan power to create a demon to conquer Earth with, but he tells her that he is tired of war. As she blusters in rage, he walks out on her. Jacen is on a date when they spy a burning building. A mother is upset because her daughter is trapped inside. Jacen runs into the inferno to rescue her, swearing "I won't let it happen again." He finds the girl, and leaps from the building just before it collapses. Later, Zephyr warns the G-Rangers that there have been many unexplained fires throughout Tokyo, and asks them to watch out for Supernova. On Supernova's flagship, Araboth, BeastCzar gloats over his latest creation, the fire ant/ scorpion combination Sasorserian. This is what is starting the fires. Jacen spots a suspicious guy in a trenchcoat, whose footprints melt holes in the sidewalk. His suspicions are confirmed when the man shoots a stream of fire, igniting a nearby building. Jacen transforms into Fire Red, and the two fight. However, Growdai Demon Ryoko is dispatched from the Araboth and causes the monster to grow larger. The giant Sasorserian begins to burn up the entire city, and Fire Red collapses in the flames. In flashback: ten years ago during the meteor showers, the city where Jacen had lived caught fire. His home burned down, and his younger sister Jo was lost. Since then, he has worked to master the fire, so that it cannot hurt him again. The fire speaks to him in his mind and calls him master. As Fire Red awakes, the flames from the burning buildings gather together into the Fire Mashin Shishiou, a lion robot which Jacen can pilot. Using it, he destroys the giant monster. Afterwards, his teammates are envious of Jacen's new power, while Emperor Artemis is amused by this new twist. 04 - "Deadly Water! Ascend, Miracle Ultra Ninja Beast" On the Araboth, FireKaizer Scougall visits his chambers, where a beautiful alien girl is playing the flute. After the song is over, BeastCzar Tarou (who had been watching from the doorway) applauds snidely. In his room at Zuni's, Konatsu puts on a blue (female) ninja costume. Jacen sees him and wonders if he's going to be in a play. Konatsu explains that it's the uniform of the Suima ninja clan, of which he is the last surviving member. Jacen thinks it is a joke, until Konatsu uses a knife to cut off Jacen's shirt without touching him. Konatsu blushes girlishly and apologizes. Nabiki hoots in delight as Jacen walks out shirtless. Konatsu asks for the day off to visit his parents' graves by the sea. Konatsu prays to his father, then swiftly draws his sword and decapitates a ninja who had snuck up behind him. He says that these are Maou Oni, who can enter our world during times of catastrophe. They had attacked during the meteor shower ten years ago, where the rest of his clan died while he had been carried off to safety by a giant shark. Konatsu transforms into Water Blue for added power. As Water Blue fights the Maou Oni, BeastCzar watches from space, having had his attention drawn by the release of Majinergy particles. He turns a turtle into Mugendortise and tells it to crush the lone G-Ranger. As the monster overpowers Konatsu, the shark rises from the ocean again. It talks in his mind with his father's voice, and tells him that it is the spirit of water, Same Maru. The shark shines with blue light and turns into a Mashin. Together, they use the Suiton ninja technique to kill the Supernova monster and destroy the Oni. Returning to Zuni's, everyone congratulates him on receiving his Mashin and beating Supernova, but Konatsu is proudest of avenging his father. 05 - "Deadly Great Earth! Goodbye my Friend" A little girl's dog runs away from her and into the middle of traffic. Just before a truck hits him, Ueki leaps by and carries the dog to safety. Several bystanders wonder about the crazy girl who almost died for a dog. While she works at the restaurant, Ueki keeps mumbling the name Al. Scott claims that he was going to ask her out, but he's disappointed to learn that she has a boyfriend. Ueki insists that it's not like that. A beautiful lady enters a construction site, where the workers come on to her; it is really BeastCzar in human guise. He Hellvolves a beetle and a backhoe into the Kabuterra monster, which causes earthquakes by striking the ground with its shovel horn. Several buildings are destroyed by the monster before the G-Rangers arrive to stop it. Jacen manages to cut off its horn so that it cannot attack, but Artemis sends Ryoko down to enlarge Kabuterra. Jacen, Zephyr and Konatsu all summon their Mashins to battle it, while Scott and Ueki try to get civilians to safety. Unfortunately, the monster can burrow underground, dodging the Mashins' attacks. A building nearly collapses on Earth Green, but a strange white dog knocks her out of the way. She remembers the earthquakes that struck Tokyo ten years ago, and how her beloved dog Al pushed her away from a collapsing building, only to be crushed himself. Al's spirit has returned to save her again, and Al is reincarnated as Ueki's Mashin, Soul Wolf. It has the power of Earth, and makes the ground underneath Kabuterra too hard to burrow through, so the Mashins can easily destroy it. Later, Ueki is happy to have been reunited with her lost pet, and informs Scott that most women would rather have a dog than a man. Scott calls her a pervert. 06 - "Deadly Void! The Country that Vanished" Ten years ago, Scott narrates, the country of Hamlin was worst affected by the catastrophes. A black hole appeared and sucked everything in. Researchers only found one survivor in the wasteland, a boy with amnesia... On the Araboth, BeastCzar changes an ordinary Earth bat into a pale, black- haired vampire woman, Vampis Ella. She is sent to a fashion show posing as a model, and drains energy from several girls. Zephyr suspects Supernova is behind the model attacks, and sends the G-Rangers to protect other fashion shows. Jacen drools at the thought of so many girls. Scott and Ueki are sent together to one show. She wants to pose in a China dress to draw out the monster, but Scott tells her she shouldn't eat so much pizza if she wants to be a model. Ueki tells Scott he must have had a bad childhood to grow up as such a jerk, causing him to leave. The monster does attack, and Earth Green battles it. Ryoko comes down and enlarges it into a giant bat-creature, which Earth Green fights using her Mashin, but Soul Wolf is overpowered by it. Scott catches Ueki as she falls, and she is surprised that he showed concern for her. He confesses to her the story of his lonely childhood as the only survivor from Hamlin, and the darkness that has been inside him since then. She tells him to control the darkness instead of letting it control him, and Scott Void Black shapes it into his own Mashin, Jormungand. It tears apart the Supernova monster with Shadow Kiba. Afterwards, Scott makes Ueki promise not to tell anyone his secret. Jacen is miserable because he didn't get any dates, and everyone is shocked to see fashion magazines with Konatsu in a dress on the covers... 07 - "Deadly Plot! Everything is for my Sister's Sake" As G-Ranger finishes destroying another of Supernova's monsters, a pretty young girl shows up and begins fawning over Fire Red. The girl gets Fire Red to take her out on a date, on the condition that he can do it in costume. Meanwhile, on the Araboth, FireKaizer is brooding. He is uninterested in conquering Earth, and is worried that his sister will be hurt in the course of the latest plot to destroy G-Ranger. Actually, Emperor Artemis and BeastCzar are planning to kill FireKaizer's sister and blame G-Ranger for it. Jacen (in costume) and the girl, Ann, go on their date, but Ann is reluctant to let the handsome boy get close to her. They go out to the carnival, and a romantic movie, and finally for a walk in the woods. The girl takes out a flute and plays a haunting romantic melody for Fire Red. He tries to kiss her, but before he connects, BeastCzar Hellvolves the girl into a monster with the head of a woman and the body of a snake. She reveals that she is Annya Scougall of Supernova who was sent to lure Fire Red away from the rest of his team and destroy him. The rest of the G-Rangers are far away, so Fire Red must duel with the monster alone. He finishes her with the Prometheus Sword, but regrets the loss of such a cute girl, even if she was evil. FireKaizer, watching from above, grieves over his sister's death. He vows to make humanity suffer, and to take revenge on Fire Red. 08 - "Deadly Demon! Magic Knight Robos, Combine" FireKaizer rages furiously over Fire Red killing his sister while Artemis and BeastCzar gloat about successfully manipulating him. He goes to the tomb of Ares and prays to Hell, summoning the spirits of Vampis Ella, Kabuterra, Mugendortise, Forzer Ligas and Sasorserian together to form the Demonniker Baezubatto. Baezubatto appears on top of a skyscraper and blasts the city with his Five-Element Demon Burst, calling the G-Rangers out. They battle it to a draw, and FireKaizer orders Ryoko down to enlarge the beast. Each G-Ranger summons his/her Mashin to the battle, but the demon defeats each of them with attacks of the competing element. Beaten, the G-Rangers must retreat to the GRIT base underneath Zuni's to plan a counterattack, leaving Tokyo at the mercy of the Supernova demon. At Zuni's, Nabiki explains that the Mashins are capable of fusing into one when their master's wills join together. However, the process is too dangerous to try. Each G-Ranger goes off by himself to worry about the danger. Jacen refuses to let any monster beat him, and he convinces the rest of the team to try combining. On the Araboth, Artemis is lavishing praise on FireKaizer for his victory over G-Ranger, while berating BeastCzar for his many failures. FireKaizer is intent on destroying buildings in search of Fire Red, on whom he wants revenge. He laughs insanely as the G-Ranger Mashins return to the battle- field. All five Mashins begin to enter fusion formation, but they keep breaking apart and getting beaten up by Baezubatto. Ueki realizes that Scott is the problem, and tells him that he has to trust the rest of them, like he trusted her with the story of his childhood. Finally, the Mashins can combine together into the G-Victory battle platform. The demon is driven back by the combined weapons attack, but the G-Rangers still need more power. The Mashins break apart again, and reform as a super-robot, Alexander Robo. This destroys Baezubatto with it's Gordian Sword attack. Artemis rages at FireKaizer for his failure, while BeastCzar stands aside and smirks. That night, Scott walks in on Ueki as she's undressing and tries thank her for helping him, but she chases him off as a pervert. He laughs at the idea that he would want to look at a "chubby girl" like her, but whispers thank you as he leaves. 09 - "Deadly Vacation! A Day at the Beach" The G-Rangers are taking a day off at the beach to celebrate their last victory. Nabiki is slighted once by Jacen, who ignores her flaunting her tiny swimsuit to chase other girls, and again by the other guys on the beach who cluster around Konatsu (who is wearing a one-piece women's suit). Scott tells Ueki that he can practically count the number of donuts she ate today. Ueki retorts by wondering what Scott has stuffed his suit with. BeastCzar is also on the beach. Several girls are interested in him, but he chases them away. Wanting to get some peace and quiet, he transforms an octopus into Spinas Kraken and unleashes it on the beachgoers. Jacen challenges Scott to a surfing contest, to decide who gets first pick of the girls on the beach. Scott is uninterested, but agrees just to shut him up. Scott wins the contest by manipulating gravity, and Jacen sorrowfully complains that now he'll have to go out with a fat girl. Ueki sarcastically congratulates Scott on winning a date with a hot babe. He says that he would rather go out with her, a compliment that confuses Ueki. A giant octopus monster drags several people under the water. The G-Rangers, recognizing Supernova's work, all run into changing rooms and emerge in costume. After they cut the people free, they call their Mashins and form Alexander Robo, finishing the octopus monster off. Everyone throws a party to thank the G-Rangers, causing BeastCzar to leave, clutching his head at the noise. That evening, the G-Rangers all prepare to return home, but Jacen can't be found. He is clutching the hands of a very overweight, very confused glasses-wearing girl, incoherently trying to ask her out. 10 - "Deadly Fists! Stand Up, Great Red Lion" On the TV news they interview a popular new idol singer, Sumire Violet. They ask her what she wants more than anything, and she says to destroy humanity. Her manager, F.K. Hit, makes up an excuse and drags her away. Nabiki doesn't like Sumire Violet at all. She shows Jacen graphs correlating the increase in sales of Sumire's single with men quitting their jobs, dumping their girlfriends and so on. She arranges to have a pizza stand at Sumire's concert so they can watch for trouble. Sumire starts to sing at the concert. All the men watching, including the G-Ranger guys, fall under a spell, and start fighting each other over her. Being superpowered, the four G-Rangers guys manage to reach the stage, where they confess their love for Sumire. She is confused by Konatsu and says that the spell shouldn't work on girls. Ueki transforms into Earth Green and jumps onto the stage, confronting Sumire. F.K. Hit and Sumire reveal themselves to be FireKaizer and his demon monster, Sumire Violence. She is the manifestation of the rage of all the idol singers who only had one hit song. Ueki tries to fight her, but all of her teammates defend the demon. Nabiki drags Jacen aside and puts a pair of earphones on his head, breaking Sumire's spell. He goes into battle alongside Ueki. Together they nearly beat the demon, but she is enlarged into a giant microphone monster. Soul Wolf and Shishiou aren't strong enough to defeat it. The headphones Jacen is wearing start to play Fire Red's image song from the G-Ranger vocal collection, and his fire power flares up. Shishiou transforms into its robot mode, Buster-Ou, which punches Sumire into oblivion. The other guys are freed from the spell without remembering anything that happened. Nabiki says that she wants to have a singing career, but the G-Rangers insist that it could never happen. 11 - "Deadly Curse! Open Your Eyes to the Wild" One night, the G-Rangers are on stakeout. There have been reports of werewolf attacks all week, and Zephyr thinks Supernova is behind it. Ueki sees the werewolf and calls for help. By the time the others arrive, it has run away, and Ueki has a bad wound on her leg. At the restaurant the next day, she is wearing pants instead of a skirt, supposedly to hide her bandage. One of the customers complains that there is a hair in his pizza, causing her to run off in tears. That evening, Jacen hears Nabiki tell Ueki to come to the bathroom and follows them lecherously. When he peeks in, he sees Nabiki waxing Ueki's legs, which are very hairy. He walks away in tears, saying that his innocence has been shattered. The morning after that, Ueki wakes up and sees that her legs are hairy again. Also her bed has been clawed up by a large animal. She goes to work again, shying away from all the guys. Scott follows her around, noticing that something is different. Finally, he loudly announces that she has grown a mustache, and earns a pounding. Nabiki waxes her again, and Ueki goes to bed happy, then wakes up the next morning hairy and covered in blood. Scott barges in to tell her the werewolf put several people in the hospital last night, and is horrified at how Ueki looks. She starts crying in his arms and says that something is wrong with her. In front of Scott's eyes, she turns into a green werewolf and jumps out the window. The G-Rangers track Ueki down and find her on a rampage with the other werewolf. They refuse to fight her, but she doesn't hesitate to beat them up. Scott is able to tame her, and everybody yells at him when he makes her fetch a stick. They gang up on the real werewolf and kill it, turning Ueki back to normal. However, Ryoko revives the werewolf and enlarges it, so the G-Rangers must use Alexander Robo to kill it again. Later, Nabiki is showing off her tight jeans to Jacen, who seems nervous. He rips the jeans off right there in the restaurant and happily announces that she has smooth legs, only to be mercilessly beaten by her for it. 12 - "Deadly President! A Shift of Power" A shuttle docks with the Araboth. Artemis' brother, Flare Star Emperor Apollo, disembarks. He announces that Nova Imperium has put him in charge of conquering Earth after Artemis' many failures. Artemis tells BeastCzar and FireKaizer to attack him with their most powerful monsters. A robotics girl emerges from the shuttle and destroys both monsters with one shot. Apollo declares that she is his protegee, M-Hunter, who was trained to destroy Majinergy lifeforms like the G-Rangers. Artemis is put in prison, and everyone pretends that the monsters were a test. Jacen goes to the grave of his younger sister, who had died in a fire ten years ago that day. Meanwhile, M-Hunter takes a group of stormtrooper-like Koron robots into the city for field exercises. Jacen transforms and tells them to stop. Using a communicator on her wrist, M-Hunter commands the Korons to attack Fire Red one at a time while M-Hunter analyzes his battle style. The other G-Rangers arrive later and drive back M-Hunter, damaging her controller so that the Korons run wild. M-Hunter calls Apollo for a monster to cover her escape. He orders BeastCzar and FireKaizer to create one, but they refuse to acknowledge Apollo's leadership until he threatens to kill Artemis. FireKaizer uses a demon to posses a sports car, which becomes the fire-breathing Dragon Roader. M-Hunter continues to study all five G-Rangers, their Mashins and Alexander Robo during the battle, then retreats to the Araboth. BeastCzar and FireKaizer criticize her for fleeing, but she tells them that the information she collected about G-Ranger is more important. Afterwards, Scott comments that Jacen didn't try to ask M-Hunter out, and teases him about losing his touch. Jacen says that she was cute, but not quite his type. 13 - "Deadly Death in Battle! The Mantle is Passed" Using the information she collected about the Mashins, M-Hunter constructs prototype power armor suits for the Korons, called Gorons. BeastCzar is dubious about mere robots defeating the G-Rangers, but M-Hunter says that they have the advantage of mass-production. At Zuni's, reports come in about Supernova attacks all over the world. The G-Rangers are forced to split up, taking their Mashins to each of the trouble spots. FireKaizer grudgingly compliments Apollo on this plan, and asks for permission to send a monster to attack while the G-Rangers are occupied. Apollo refuses, saying that he's having too much fun already. BeastCzar and FireKaizer are appalled by this foolish attitude. Each G-Ranger fights one of the Gorons. Zephyr, in the Japanese Alps, has a harder time than the others. While the rest of the G-Rangers manage to defeat the giant robots, Zephyr's is able to predict his moves. He can't believe it's just a machine, and it turns out to be piloted by M-Hunter herself. Jacen, Scott, Ueki and Konatsu report back to Zuni's, but Zephyr does not return. They cannot reach him on his communicator, so they all fly out to the site of his battle. Zephyr is laying in the snow next to his Mashin. As they arrive, he passes away and Paradis Bird starts to disappear. Most of the G-Rangers are sorry to see their friend die, but Scott is more worried about losing Zephyr's Mashin. A young boy comes out of hiding and asks if they are Zephyr's friends. They sense a familiar energy from him. He does not understand what is going on, but he tells them that he found Zephyr dying and Zephyr passed his power on to him. Paradis Bird flies down into his new master's body. The boy, Zing, returns to Tokyo with them as a new addition to the team. 14 - "Deadly Great Sky! A Heart Plummets" Zephyr, the leader of G-Ranger, was killed by M-Hunter and passed his powers on to a boy named Zing. However, Zing is unable to transform. To take his mind off it, Nabiki organizes a sightseeing trip up the Tokyo Tower. Most of the G-Rangers are excited, but Zing clamps onto a girder and has to be dragged into the elevator. Nearby, BeastCzar looks at the tower with distaste, and condemns humans for trying to reach up to heaven. A bird flys past, and BeastCzar Hellvolves it into the Loki Nodon monster. Loki Nodon divebombs the tower, which shakes dangerously. As everyone flees the tower, four of the G-Rangers climb onto the roof of the observation deck and transform. Nabiki remains below with the cowering Zing, saying it's shameful for a Magic Knight to be afraid of heights. As the G-Rangers are about to kill the human-sized Loki Nodon, Ryoko enlarges it. They call their Mashins, but they are helpless against the flying monster. Nabiki tells Zing that they need his Mashin's power, and demands to know why he is afraid of heights. Zing tells her that he and his father were flying in a plane together when the meteor shower struck Earth, causing the plane's systems to stop working. There were no parachutes on board, so Zing's father told him to trust the wind and threw him from the plane. Somehow he survived the fall, but his father was lost. Nabiki tells him he has to face his fear to be a whole man again, and casually tosses Zing out the window. Zing screams and flails his arms, then composes himself and focuses his wind power, transforming into Aero White, the magic knight of wind. Washigami, a white-colored Paradis Bird, descends and catches him. With the power of flight, Zing can beat the monster easily. After the battle, Nabiki says that she should open a psychiatric practice. Everyone coughs circumspectly. Meanwhile, Apollo chastises BeastCzar for daring to attack the Earth without his permission. BeastCzar silently promises to pay Apollo back for this humiliation. 15 - "Deadly Impostor! Enter: Golden Sun" A lizard-like monster goes on a rampage through Tokyo, knocking over cars and scaring people. A strange person in a gold costume appears, introducing himself as the sixth G-Ranger, Golden Sun. He uses his Solar Flare technique, which causes a burst of bright light and destroys the monster while all the bystanders are blinded. On the Araboth, Apollo is confused because he has not ordered any monsters to attack Earth recently. M-Hunter asks permission to investigate the new G-Ranger. Golden Sun appears on a talk show to advertise himself. He is a new superhero who believes in justice and freedom and going out on dates with girls who couldn't get boyfriends otherwise. As the G-Rangers watch the interview, Scott sarcastically applauds Ueki's good fortune. Nabiki wonders how there can be another person with the Majinergy power. Golden Sun is riding off in a fancy limo when M-Hunter and her Korons appear, opening fire on it. She scans him and announces that he is a fake G-Ranger. A crab monster, Bakakane, shows up and attacks Golden Sun, making quick work of him. The G-Rangers arrive to help, but Golden Sun tells them to get lost. He summons his Mashin, the old-school-style Agamemnon Robo, which is easily destroyed by the still human-sized monster. Golden Sun is rescued from the wreckage by the G-Rangers, who then defeat the monster. Golden Sun turns out to be Picolette Chardin II, a rich, spoiled playboy. He was bored and wanted to meet girls, so he pretended to be a superhero. Earth Green points out that a rich guy can get lots of girls, which cheers him up, until he realizes he spent his entire fortune on Agamemnon Robo... 16 - "Deadly Transformation! The Wild Sorceress" One night, a guy is in the park with his girlfriend. He starts to kiss her, but there is a puff of smoke and she turns into a pig. The guy runs off, leaving his ex-girlfriend behind. The next day, several girls are trying on clothes in a store when they turn into pigs as well. The same thing happens at the pool and a fashion show. Apollo is drunk and laughing as he watches all this from the Araboth. He had ordered FireKaizer to call the sorceress Circe from Hell to cause mischief around Tokyo. FireKaizer has severe reservations about both this plan and Apollo's fitness to rule. There is a news show where a reporter tries to interview a pig that used to be a girl. Jacen, who is watching, burns with anger and announces that Supernova has gone too far. Nabiki says that she doesn't mind having less competition. Jacen insists on staking out the park to catch the attacker. That night Jacen and Nabiki, Zing and Ueki, and Scott and Konatsu pose as young couples in the park (Scott dislikes this plan). Nabiki and Ueki are turned into pigs, and Jacen wonders if there might be something wrong with his plan, to which both girls loudly agree. Konatsu spots Circe lurking in the shadows, preparing to attack him. He creates an ice shield that reflects her spell back, transforming her instead. Apollo pouts at having his fun ruined, and summons BeastCzar to make a monster from the pig. BeastCzar very grudgingly turns it into the Butannik monster. All five G-Rangers transform, and Scott tells Ueki that she looks better than she usually does in costume. They defeat the monster using Alexander Robo, after which Ueki and Nabiki to return to normal. Apollo throws a tantrum, destroying many Korons. FireKaizer and BeastCzar put aside their differences and agree that he must be removed from command. 17 - "Deadly Wings! A Black Shadow in the Great Sky" M-Hunter is examining data on Alexander Robo while she commands the Korons to construct something. FireKaizer notices that M-Hunter wears a cross pendant underneath her costume. He tries to examine the pendant, but he is blasted away by energy from it. There is some kind of powerful emotion tied in to the pendant. Apollo catches him examining M-Hunter and warns FireKaizer not to investigate her too closely. Jacen is serving as a waiter when he drops his tray and clutches at his chest. Konatsu is afraid he is having a heart attack. Scott says it's "heart burn". Jacen claims that he is alright, but then collapses. M-Hunter launches from the Araboth in her Hunter Wing, which looks like a WWII fighter plane. Several Goron mecha accompany her. Apollo laughs at FireKaizer and BeastCzar, telling them that they are now superfluous. The Hunter Wing flies over Tokyo and starts bombing buildings. Nabiki notifies the G-Rangers about the attack, and they rush out to help. Jacen is in bed and tries to get up, but Nabiki forces him down because he's not well. He tells her that he has had attacks like these ever since the meteor shower ten years ago, but they have never been this bad before. Three of the G-Rangers user their Mashins to fight M-Hunter's Gorons, while Aero White flies up to attack her Hunter Wing fighter. She has several close calls, but does not seem worried. After the Goron mecha are destroyed, she turns Hunter Wing around, and transforms it into a dragon mecha. It easily knocks Washigami down, then incapacitates the other Mashins. Before she can destroy them, she collapses in pain, clutching at her chest. Apollo orders her to pull back, then forces her to by activating a mechanism on her headband. The G-Rangers have a reprieve, but they and their Mashins are seriously wounded... 18 - "Deadly Showdown! The Secret Identity Is..." Jacen was incapacitated by a strange illness while M-Hunter attacked in her new mecha, Hunter Wing. It easily defeated the other G-Rangers' Mashins, but M-Hunter had to withdraw when she suffered an attack similar to Jacen's. Jacen forces himself out of bed while Nabiki is tending the other G-Rangers' injuries. Ueki tries to stop him. He takes off a pendant he is wearing which is shaped like a cross and shows it to her. It is almost too hot to touch. Jacen tells her that the pendant is some kind of magic, and it's trying to tell him something. She agrees to let him go, and he kisses her. Scott watches this jealously. M-Hunter is strapped to a table while Apollo examines her. She is missing her headband, and struggles against Apollo, crying for help. He tries to remove the pendant from her neck, but is blasted by it. Apollo remembers how he came to Earth ten years ago and kidnapped this girl to experiment on, then curses himself for picking one with such a power around her. Her headband is replaced, causing her to revert to her robotic personality. BeastCzar and FireKaizer are watching and plotting. Fire Red takes Shishiou up onto Mt. Fuji, and clears away all the tourists there. As M-Hunter returns to Tokyo to resume her attack, she and Jacen both experience chest pains again, as their pendants burn. M-Hunter notices Jacen's Majinergy signal and turns away to confront him. Apollo tells her to ignore the trap, but his control of her is interrupted. Hunter Wing transforms to dragon mode and confronts Buster-Ou. Fire Red and M-Hunter draw their swords and charge at each other, riding on their mechs' heads. Each strikes at the same time and cut the other's costume open, revealing their identical pendants. M-Hunter continues to attack, but Jacen withdraws. He realizes that M-Hunter must be his younger sister Jo, who he thought was dead, and tells her that he can't fight her because of that. She calls him a fool and flies in to finish him off, but their two pendants react, and she is blasted away. Apollo uses Hunter Wing's automatic evacuation sequence to bring M-Hunter back to the Araboth. Jacen returns to Zuni's and reveals to the other G-Rangers that M-Hunter is really his sister. FireKaizer brings a recording of the battle down to Artemis' prison cell, and tells her that Apollo's days are numbered. 19 - "Deadly Revenge! A Body Strewn Among the Flowers" The G-Rangers' enemy, M-Hunter, has been revealed to be Jacen's younger sister Jo, who Apollo had kidnapped as a child. Apollo removes M-Hunter's control headband, which was burned out in the previous battle. FireKaizer summons an imp and places it into the replacement headband. The other G-Rangers can't believe that M-Hunter is Jacen's sister. Ueki wonders if Supernova had something to do with the meteor shower ten years ago, if they had visited Earth around that time. Nabiki changes the subject. Scott says it's too bad, but they may have to kill Jacen's sister. The others insist that there must be another way. Their monitor is activated, and a grainy picture of FireKaizer appears. He tells them that they can free M-Hunter from Apollo's control by destroying her headband. They want to know who he is, but he breaks off communication. M-Hunter returns to Earth with an army of Gorons. She starts screaming and clawing at her headband. In a fit of madness, she destroys her own escort, and starts to go on a rampage through the city. The G-Rangers confront her in Alexander Robo, and shoot Hunter Wing down. On foot, Fire Red and M-Hunter fight one-on-one, and her headband is smashed by his sword. Dazed, M-Hunter falls down and wonders what's going on. Jo recognizes her brother and runs towards him, throwing off the pieces of her M-Hunter costume. Then FireKaizer appears and blows a hole through Jo's chest. She collapses and dies in Jacen's arms. Jacen leaps at FireKaizer, screaming for revenge, but he dodges and says: "An eye for an eye and blood for blood. Now you know the pain of having your only sister murdered senselessly. Do not talk about revenge, this was only justice." FireKaizer dematerializes in a burst of flame. On the Araboth, Apollo storms into the throne room ranting at FireKaizer for killing M-Hunter. He finds Artemis sitting on the throne, laughing at him. Supernova stormtroopers surround him, and Artemis tosses him a box with M-Hunter's things in them. The soldiers draw their guns... 20 - "Deadly Coup! Apollo is Cast Down" Apollo had taken over Supernova because nobody could challenge his general, M-Hunter. Now she is dead, and Artemis is in charge again. Apollo grabs the box with M-Hunter's things and wails uncontrollably. Everyone is surprised by his reaction, and the soldiers pull back. He puts the Kowrist controller on, and orders the Korons to cover his escape. A battle breaks out on the Araboth between the Korons and Artemis' soldiers. Apollo activates the Gorons, which tear through the ship and crush the soldiers, but FireKaizer and BeastCzar easily destroy them. Apollo flees aimlessly, ending up in Ares' tomb. FireKaizer is waiting for him, and starts praying to Ares. Apollo screams in agony as his body begins to mutate. Jacen and the others hold a funeral for his sister Jo. Everyone talks about their own loss and consoles Jacen, except for Scott, who is bitter over the suffering in his own life. He remembers that he lost everyone and his own memories of them. Ueki notices how Scott is acting and smacks him for being selfish. Angelus Apollo (which looks kind of like an Evangelion) attacks the city. Artemis and her henchmen watch from above, mocking his wretched state. The G-Rangers attack Apollo, who tries to throw himself on Jacen's sword. Artemis announces that Apollo can't get away so easily, and sends Ryoko to enlarge him. The G-Rangers summon their Mashins and form Alexander Robo, but the monster backs away and cowers instead of fighting. Apollo begs them to kill him, and they do. Disheartened by their fight with the suicidal monster, they head back to Zuni's silently. A pretty, sad song plays for the rest of the episode. 21 - "Deadly Fantasy! Through the Magical Gate" Growdai Demon Ryoko flies around the Araboth pestering everyone to tell her a bedtime story. FireKaizer takes away her fairy tale book and decides to create a monster from it. The monster, Biblios Tech, attacks the city. When the G-Rangers show up to fight it, it creates a portal and sucks them into a story. The five wake up in an enchanted forest, surrounded by pretty girl elf warriors. Jacen says he knew Heaven would be like this, but Ueki pounds him until he realizes that he's not dead. The tomboyishly sexy leader of the elves, Shiro, demands to know who they are. After explaining, they are escorted to the elf castle, where the elves' magic princess will find a way to send them home. Jacen comes on to Shiro heavily, and Shiro flirts back. A cow comes up to Scott and moos at him annoyingly. He kicks her, to the elves' dismay. The cow is actually their beautiful princess, Chyron, who has been put under a curse by an evil sorceress. The G-Rangers agree to go defeat her and find a cure. Jacen and Shiro have to be dragged apart. The G-Rangers find the sorceress, and attack her to get the cure, but halfway through the battle she transforms into Biblios Tech. Even after the G-Rangers beat him, the monster laughs, expecting to be enlarged to giant size. When he realizes that he's cut off from Supernova's help, the G-Rangers kill him. They bring an antidote back and give it to the cow, who turns into a fat, homely, middle-aged, glasses-wearing elf. Zing deduces that she must have been a cow for so long that it rubbed off on her. Although depressed, the princess creates a gate back to the real world, but it won't stay open for long. Jacen announces that he's in love with Shiro and plans to stay, and the others leave, disappointed. Shiro takes Jacen to their bedroom, where Jacen discovers that Shiro is actually male. He runs after his teammates and barely jumps into the portal before it closes. Back home, everyone wonders why he came back with them, but he refuses to talk about it. 22 - "Deadly Defeat! The New Hero Appears" Two Supernova grunt troops are patrolling on the Araboth. One of them thinks he saw someone, but there is nobody around the corner. A woman in a silver G-Ranger costume leaps down from the ceiling and stabs him in the back, then disappears before the other soldier arrives. She climbs through the Araboth's ventilation system and goes to the throne room. FireKaizer is demonstrating a demon which he claims will destroy the G-Rangers. A bat/lizard monster is chained to the wall, and Epsilon demonstrates his power by sucking the monster's energy out, turning it into two normal animals. Artemis is overjoyed, BeastCzar fumes. Epsilon appears in the city, sitting on top of a parked car and waiting. Everyone flees the area, and several police cars show up. However, the demon tells them he isn't interested, and only comes to life when the G-Rangers show up. They spar extensively, but the monster seems to be holding back. He is enlarged and the G-Rangers summon their Mashins in response. Unfortunately, Epsilon uses his energy-sucking power on the Mashins, causing them to disappear and turning the G-Rangers back to their civilian identities. They try to transform again, but realize that their magic knight powers are gone. Supernova is watching from the Araboth, and the strange woman is eavesdropping. She runs to the docking bay, overpowers the guards there and flies off towards the Earth in M-Hunter's Hunter Wing ship. Epsilon tries to step on the ex-G-Rangers while they flee for cover. They are surprised to see Hunter Wing fly down and shoot at the demon. It converts to dragon mode and overpowers Epsilon, but he flees before it can kill him. The woman jumps out of the cockpit to confront them. Jacen thinks it is his sister, but she de-transforms into a blonde woman with cat eyes. She explains that she is Corrina, the magic knight of Time. Her home planet of "Aasu" (vs "Chikyuu") was destroyed by Supernova, and she was the only survivor. They are glad she is here, but wonder what to do about their powers. 23 - "Deadly Rebirth! The Six-Man Team is Complete" FireKaizer created the Epsilon demon, which has the power to suck Majinergy out of the G-Rangers. They have lost their powers and must rely on Time Silver to defend the Earth for now. At Zuni's, the G-Rangers come up with theories of how their power was taken. Nabiki acts like she is hiding something. Jacen looses control and threatens her, so she confesses that Supernova had first come to the Earth ten years ago. This was the cause of the cataclysms around the world at that time, and it was the reaction of their space warp that bestowed the Majinergy power on the five people who would become G-Rangers. GRIT was founded to prepare for Supernova's return. Now they all understand why they couldn't hide from Supernova, and how Supernova knew how to negate their power. They are dismayed, but Corrina tells them that they still have a power inside of them that was amplified by the Majinergy. She says that they must commune with their elements to directly connect with them. Konatsu goes to the Marianas Trench, Zing to Mt. Everest, and Ueki to the Grand Canyon. Jacen says he will visit the man who taught him his fire- style Kung Fu. Scott is unsure where to find Void, but Nabiki gives him a superatmospheric fighter jet to take into space. Meanwhile, Epsilon returns and Corrina, as Time Silver, takes Hunter Wing out to fight him. The Earth, Sea and Wind all attack Ueki, Konatsu and Zing, who eventually overcome the elements and transform into G-Rangers again. Jacen's seifu, Lao Wu, tells him he must walk through a wall of flame, but he is confronted by his sister's spirit in the fire. Jo blames him for her death and starts pounding on him while he refuses to fight back. Eventually he gives into his rage, causing him to transform and destroy the spirit with his Prometheus Sword. He emerges from the fire weeping. The Araboth detects Scott's jet and several Gorons are dispatched to destroy it. Scott manages to stop them, but his engines are destroyed and he is losing air. He ejects into space, where he hears the spirits of everyone from his home telling him to die. He drives them away and regains the power of Void. On Earth, Epsilon has badly beaten Hunter Wing. The other G-Rangers show up and combine their Mashins, but the demon boasts that he has as much power as five G-Rangers. They are evenly matched until Time Silver combines her Mashin with Alexander Robo to form Great Alexander. The new robot destroys Epsilon with Ramses Crush. 24 - "Deadly Petrifaction! The Eyes of Doom Cast Down Justice" A sultry woman wearing sunglasses walks through a crowded street. A snake looks out from underneath her hat, but she pushes it back in. One guy bumps into her and she falls, losing her sunglasses. Beams shoot out from her eyes and turn everyone else on the street into stone. As the woman puts her glasses back on, she seems regretful. On the Araboth, Artemis asks FireKaizer why his gorgon is hiding her power, but he seems unsure. People are turned into statues in other places around Tokyo, and the G-Rangers investigate. Fire Red goes to the scene of one attack, where the woman approaches him. She confesses that she turned all the people to stone by accident. He doesn't believe her until she takes off her hat and shows that she has snakes for hair. She says that even though she was summoned by Supernova, she doesn't want to hurt people. Fire Red promises to help her, but she loses her glasses again and petrifies him. The other four G-Rangers arrive soon. The gorgon tries to surrender, but FireKaizer compels her to fight. Scott is turned to stone by her. The remaining G-Rangers have to cover their eyes, and the Gorgon can beat them up easily. Corrina arrives at the battle, advising Konatsu to use his Ninjutsu to beat her. He wraps a piece of cloth over his helmet's visor, and uses his other senses to find the Gorgon, putting her eyes out. She is enlarged into a giant snake-man creature, but without Scott and Jacen, the G-Rangers can't form Alexander Robo. Time Silver has a backup plan. She summons Hunter Wing, and it combines with the other Mashins to form V-Cleopatra. Now they have enough power to kill the snake monster. Scott and Jacen are brought back to Zuni's while Zing works on an antidote. Ueki and Nabiki put them in a homoerotic pose, and they are shocked when they turn back to normal. The girls run upstairs and lock themselves in their rooms. 25 - "Deadly Birthday! The Girlfriend Becomes a Cake" It is Growdai Demon Ryoko's birthday, but nobody on the Araboth cares. She goes to sulk in a storage room, where she finds M-Hunter's costume. By wearing the Kowrist controller, she takes control of all the Korons on the ship. Artemis and her henchmen are furious as Ryoko takes the robots down to Earth for a birthday party. Jacen gets ready for a date with his new girlfriend, who works at a bakery. Nabiki is jealous, and gives him a long list of reasons why he shouldn't date the girl, but he doesn't care. Scott tells Ueki to hope that Jacen will bring back a cake for her, earning a beating. Ryoko takes the Korons around town, breaking into toy and candy shops. She sees a girl in a pretty dress and orders the Korons to strip her naked. The dress is too big when Ryoko tries it on, but she wears it anyway. Jacen arrives at the bakery. His girlfriend Keiko tells him that she has to deliver a wedding cake before they go out. He goes along with her, but freaks out when she says that the candy bride and groom look like them. Ryoko spots the cake and wants it for herself. She tries to use her power on it, but Keiko is caught in the effect and both merge into a talking cake the size of a building, blocking the whole street. Keiko gets upset and cries as the Korons start to cut the cake up for Ryoko. Jacen has to fight them off without transforming because too many people are watching. Jacen tries to ask, beg and threaten Ryoko to turn Keiko back to normal, but she refuses. Finally he convinces her to do it, if the G-Rangers will come and sing Happy Birthday to her. He runs back to Zuni's and explains the situation (Nabiki thinks it is hilarious), and the G-Rangers all go to where the cake is and sing the Happy Birthday song. By chanting "Nodai, Nodai, Nodai", Ryoko changes Keiko back to a normal girl, wearing just the cake. Jacen remembers the candy bride and groom, and, afraid of commitment, breaks up with Keiko. She slaps him and runs off crying. Ryoko returns to the Araboth with all of her birthday goodies. BeastCzar pouts, complaining that he didn't get anything for his birthday yesterday. 26 - "Deadly Resurrection! An Old Enemy Returns" In a flashback, the Araboth is bombing planet Aasu. In a ruined city, a sneering, black-clad Supernova general fights Time Silver and a yellow G-Ranger. He kills the yellow one, but Silver pins him to the ground so that he can't escape. The planet cracks open and explodes. Remembering this, FireKaizer takes M-Hunter's things into Ares' tomb and starts to call a soul up from Hell. The objects dance around the room and gather together into a robot replica of the person in the flashback. Corrina has made her home in an abandoned clock tower. Ueki follows her there to talk. While they clean up the place, she notices a photograph of a cute boy with blond hair and asks who it is. Corrina tells her that it was Yellow Moon, one of the other G-Rangers from her home planet, Aasu. Ueki notices she is holding something back, and she confesses that they were lovers. Corrina warns Ueki against having a relationship with one of her teammates, but Ueki pretends not to know what she means. The tower shakes and they look out the window to see a group of giant Goron mecha attacking the city. The two women are the first there in their Mashins, and easily destroy seven of the Gorons. However, the eighth is much better piloted. The cockpit opens to reveal the robot man, who taunts Time Silver. She calls him the ChaosCaesar, but he corrects her, saying that he is SteelCaesar Blade now. SteelCaesar's taunting about killing her lover and destroying her planet makes Corrina lose control, and she chases him through the air. He just laughs and dodges her wild shots. Corrina nearly destroys a building by accident, but Soul Wolf jumps in the way of the blast. Eventually the other G-Ranger Mashins arrive and they all combine into Great Alexander. SteelCaesar retreats, promising that the next time he gets Corrina alone, he'll get revenge for his own death. On the way back home, Ueki pulls Scott aside and kisses him on the cheek. He wonders what that was for, and she tells him it was "just in case". 27 - "Deadly Games! I Am Not Having Fun" SteelCaesar disguises himself as a human to explore the Earth. He is amazed to see machines everywhere. He reasons that since humans spend all their time playing wasteful games, that is a weakness that he can exploit. Everyone at Zuni's recognizes that Scott and Ueki like each other, and plot ways to force them together. Nabiki sends them on a special undercover patrol together. The patrol is actually at a new amusement parlor. Scott tries to impress Ueki by winning an Earth Green doll from a UFO catcher machine, but she smacks him because he had grabbed it by the butt. A girl sits in front of a Pachinko machine and is excited to win, but the machine shoots a ball at her and she turns into a board game piece. Steel- Caesar planted a control chip on the Pachinko machine and it becomes the Panchineko robot. Panchineko attacks the other people at the game parlor and Scott and Ueki transform to fight him. Unfortunately, the robot hits Ueki with a pachinko ball and turns her into a green hippopotamus. Scott tries to help her but gets turned into a black chess knight. SteelCaesar comes over to gloat, then runs away when Ueki nearly tramples him. The other G-Rangers arrive soon. Zing tries to find a cure for Scott and Ueki, but can't. Konatsu, Zing and Corrina run after the monster while Jacen stays behind, trying to flip up the skirt of a Nabiki doll with the claw on the UFO catcher. The other three try to fight Panchineko, but eventually get turned into a giant thimble, a Stratego piece and an hourglass. Eventually Ueki forces Jacen away from the machine, and he comes up with a plan. He lures Panchineko over to Ueki, then knocks him forward into her mouth. The robot is forced to turn everyone back to normal in order to escape. SteelCaesar chastises him for failing, then offers him another chance by summoning a Goron for him to pilot. After Great Alexander destroys the Goron, Scott tries to impress Ueki at the UFO catcher again, but he pulls up a green stuffed hippo and she gets mad. 28 - "Deadly Fiancee! This Girl Won't Leave me Alone" Scott gets a visit from a cute girl named Kate, with whom he went to school. Kate claims to have been Scott's girlfriend, which makes Ueki jealous, but she denies it when Scott notices. Scott insists that he has to work and can't spend time with Kate, but Nabiki gives him the day off. Elsewhere around the city, girls are talking loudly on their cell phones. Something sucks them into the mouthpieces of their phones. One guy tries to steal one of the abandoned phones, but he runs away in horror when he hears a girl crying for help from the earpiece. Kate drags Scott out shopping and to a movie, and he remembers why he was glad to get away from her. He is relieved to get a call from Nabiki on his Virtual G-Unit, telling him to go investigate the missing girls. Scott hastily apologizes to Kate, then ducks into an alley and transforms into Void Black. However, Kate was watching and saw his transformation. At Zuni's, Zing is starting to disassemble one of the phones. A voice comes out of it, warning them that if anything happens to the phone, the captive girl will die. Jacen says that he doesn't mind when they hurt guys, but cute girls should be off-limits. Kate shows up and drags Scott aside, telling him that she knows his secret identity, and she'll tell the world unless he buys her a big ring and proposes and bakes a cake (etc). He refuses, so she pretends to call the newspaper on her cell phone (really just the weather line) and says that she knows Void Black's true identity. SteelCaesar hears her call and can't believe his luck. He sucks Kate into her phone, where she ends up in a strange red cave with the other girls. She refuses to tell SteelCaesar who Void Black is. Zing gets an idea for how to stop the monster. He holds two of the phones together and shouts into them, and a loud feedback occurs. The monster (a telephone booth with tentacles coming out of it) appears, complaining about the noise. Fire Red, hearing the girls calling for help from the monster's mouth, jumps in and ends up in the cave (its stomach?). He frees all the girls, and the G-Rangers destroy the monster. Afterwards, Scott has a change of heart and tries to tell Kate how worried he was for her, but now she's only interested in Fire Red. 29 - "Deadly Metal Hero! Infinite Power Robo Megid" Ryoko is furious because SteelCaesar has stolen all of her special effects videotapes: "Rangerman", "Cosplay Rider", "Ultrabito", and "B-Jin". His new plan is to create his own anti-hero to fight G-Ranger. Jacen takes a rich girl out one afternoon, constantly searching for the chance to kiss her. However, when he almost gets to do it, a monster attacks the movie theater. He claims that he has to walk his mother, and runs into the bathroom where he can transform out of sight. When he comes back out, another costumed hero has defeated the monster, and Jacen's date is kissing him repeatedly. Jacen vows revenge. More Supernova monsters attack the city over the week, but each time the Metal Hero Megid defeats them (and rescues the girl) before the G-Rangers can get there. Most of the team is happy to have the help, but Jacen insists that it's an evil plot. Ueki says that he's just jealous, and he says yes, but it's still an evil plot. One day another monster attacks, and the G-Rangers just stay home and watch Megid fight on TV. When the monster turns out to be too strong, they go and help Megid defeat it. He thanks them for the help, and invites himself back to their base. The G-Rangers lead Megid to a parking garage. He wonders where the entrance to their base is, but they confess that they've tricked him. Zing holds up a radio that has been modified to pick up SteelCaesar's signals to Megid, which showed them his plot. He is infuriated and attacks, overwhelming all five G-Rangers. They are forced to summon their Mashins and form Alexander Robot to fight Megid. He then enlarges himself to giant size and continues to beat them. The G-Rangers don't see any way to win, but after five minutes Megid runs out of power and shrinks again. Alexander Robo steps on him. On the Araboth SteelCaesar is furious, and Ryoko tells him that he should have watched the videos all the way through. Before the G-Rangers get home, Nabiki climbs up onto a tall shelf so that Jacen can rescue her and she can kiss him. She tries falling off when he walks by, but he says he's sick of TV heroics and just lets her drop. 30 - "Deadly Synchronization! Two People Becoming One" Amy and Vince Tagle, martial arts movie stars from Korea, come to Tokyo to promote their new film. Jacen insists that everybody go to the premiere. Vince turns lecherous and puts his face against Ueki's butt, while Amy does the same to Jacen. Jacen doesn't mind, but both girls beat Vince up. Amy explains that they are twins with a supernatural mind link. In the movie, they perform kung fu in sync. SteelCaesar watches by remote, impressed. SteelCaesar sends the Korons to raid Muhomatsu Heavy Manufacturing. The G-Rangers show up and expect an easy fight, but the Korons are being led by two androids, one female and one male, who introduce themselves as Romulus AA and Remus VV. They fight in tandem and nearly beat the G-Rangers. Ueki catches her costume on a nail and rips the chest off. Both robots go into drooling seizures, so SteelCaesar recalls them. As he tries fixing them, he curses himself for basing their programming on defective humans. Jacen takes wine and flowers to the Tagle's hotel room, hoping Amy will molest him again, but they are busy training. He gets called away to defend an electronics plant where the twin androids are attacking. The G-Rangers get beaten up again. Watching their moves, Jacen figures out that the two androids fight exactly like the Tagles. He uses his sword to cut off the bottom of Ueki's costume, and they start chasing her around while she screams at Jacen. Scott says it's her fault for not wearing underwear. While they are distracted, the androids get disabled, but SteelCaesar sends two modified Gorons and uploads Romulus AA's and Remus VV's code into them. They try fighting the giant robots with Alexander Robo, but the twin attack overpowers it. Corrina shows up in Hunter Wing and they start to form Great Alexander, but Jacen has another idea. They separate the Mashins and then reform to attack with Buster-Ou and V-Cleopatra. Jacen takes control of both mecha and destroys the androids for good. The next day at Zuni's, Ueki's skirt looks strange. Jacen flips it up and sees she has on a chastity belt, and she dares the guys to try something. 31 - "Deadly Cyberspace! Plunge into a Generation, Diver of Courage" SteelCaesar leaves his body and uploads his personality into a Toeieiga (not spelled the same) Heavy Manufacturing plant. The machines all come to life and attack the workers, forcing them to flee. The G-Rangers show up to fight the rioting robots, but Jacen's Virtual G-Unit will not let him transform. Ueki examines his VGU and finds that he has many MP3 files and saved videogames on it, preventing it from functioning properly. He says that it has lots of memory and can interface with all his equipment. The G-Rangers are forced to retreat. SteelCaesar gets an idea. Later, Jacen is playing a G-Ranger fighting game while using his VGU as a memory card when a little slime monster appears on the screen. It is named Pipo-kun. At Pipo-kun's insistence, Jacen takes the day off to play with him. Pipo-kun asks to be uploaded into the GRIT mainframe, and Jacen does not see why not. Unfortunately, Pipo-kun begins to crash the system, shutting down all the VGUs. The other G-Rangers berate Jacen for falling for such an obvious Supernova trick. Meanwhile in the factory, SteelCaesar constructs a large robot that is ominously hidden in the shadows. Zing determines that the only way to get the GRIT system back on-line is to enter the mainframe in virtual reality and kill the "digital-type monster" there. To do so, Jacen must submerge in a tank of Cyberspace Fluid; Jacen complains that this sounds too similar to "that TV Tokyo show". They force him in, and he confronts Pipo-kun in an area made of grid lines. The others watch on a monitor as Pipo leads Jacen into a cluster of dirty websites. Jacen is surrounded by beautiful girls who try to distract him, but Nabiki's voice commands him to keep going. He and Pipo-kun arrive at a video game FAQ page and both download powerful fighting moves, then they have a Dragonball Z fight. Jacen destroys the "monster from a pocket" and is taken back to the real world. However Corrina enters and tells the G-Rangers that there is more trouble. They go outside and find Steel- Caesar's Jomon-like robot, "The Way", attacking the city... 32 - "Deadly Immortal! The Spoken Way is not the True Way" The G-Rangers were distracted by the VR monster Pipo-kun, and did not stop SteelCaesar from activating his super robot, "The Way". Built into The Way's chest are three tumblers that turn to display different trigrams, changing the robot's attack and defense elements. Everyone asks Jacen to tell them what the trigrams mean, but he complains that he's like the Monkey King and doesn't have time for Taoist nonsense. The Way changes into Heaven mode and knocks Great Alexander down. Since The Way is too powerful, Corrina sneaks into the factory to find a way to disable it. As she fights through an army of robot guards, Steel- Caesar appears on all the monitors around her and taunts her. He produces a robot duplicate of Corrina, which imitates her fighting style perfectly. She uses her time freeze ability, but Robo-Corrina resists her power. The Way continues to beat down Great Alexander. Corrina tries many fancy "Matrix" moves, but Robo-Corrina is too strong for her. She is forced to retreat, and gets chased all over the factory. The two fight all the way to the factory's core, which has become a positronic brain for SteelCaesar. Holograms of him appear all over and gloat over finally destroying the last Aasuian. Corrina just laughs and tells him that he's fallen into her trap; she focuses all her time power together into an electromagnetic field that fills up the room. SteelCaesar tries to escape before his program is erased, but the communications lines are all cut. Corrina explains that she let herself be chased around so that she could sever the lines and prevent him from escaping. He screams defiance as the EMP kills him. Robo-Corrina shuts down, but The Way is an independent system. Corrina searches through the remains of SteelCaesar for the plans for The Way, and finds its weak spot. She calls the other G-Rangers and tells them that it is only vulnerable in Earth mode, with a trigram of three broken lines. Jacen closes his eyes and stabs The Way in the chest at just the right time to stop all three tumblers on broken lines. Now helpless, the robot stands there while Great Alexander flies up and destroys it with Heaven Ramses Crush. After the battle, Corrina burns incense in front of Yellow Moon's picture, telling him that she finally avenged their planet. The others wait outside and worry that she's going to leave now, but she tells them all that she won't give up until Supernova has been totally wiped out. 33 - "Deadly Diet! He Won't Like Me Anymore" Ueki is dismayed to have gained weight, although her scale is really just mis-calibrated. Scott compliments her on her figure, and she pounds him. Luckily, a new noodle cart has come to town selling "Magic Weight-Loss Udon". Ueki buys a serving (as does Nabiki and every other girl in Tokyo). However, by the next day, Ueki's girth has visibly increased. Scott compliments her on her new super-busty look, and she pounds him. Needing to slim down even more, Ueki and all the other girls go back to the magic udon cart for extra helpings, but they continue to grow, and thus keep eating more of the magic udon. The city grinds to a halt as overweight schoolgirls get stuck in classroom doorways, bullet trains can't move with so many heavy office ladies aboard, nightclubs fire their fat hostesses, and so on. Zing analyzes a bowl of the noodles, and finds that the magic udon is actually the cause of the weight gain epidemic. The G-Rangers go to confront the cart's owner, who turns into the demon Katz Uton (a samurai with a giant overturned noodle bowl for a hat). It was all a Supernova plot to make every girl in Tokyo helplessly fat, wiping out Earth Green's fighting ability. The demons shoots out noodles that tie the G-Rangers up, but Ueki is too large for the noodles to wrap around. She is able to free her teammates so they can finish the demon. Scott says it's lucky Ueki gained all that weight, and she pounds him. Zing makes an antidote in noodle form, of which Ueki and Nabiki must eat a dozen bowls every day for a week to return to normal. Later, Nabiki is flaunting her figure in front of all the customers at Zuni's. Scott compliments Ueki on getting her old appearance back, and she pounds him. 34 - "Deadly Valentine! The One Who Steals My Heart" As Valentine's Day gets closer, Jacen constantly pesters Scott about which of them Ueki will give chocolate to. Scott laughs and says that Ueki will eat all the chocolate herself, but she is standing right behind him and hits him for it. On the Araboth, FireKaizer and BeastCzar also argue over who Artemis is going to give chocolate to. Artemis yells at them to work harder, so FireKaizer suggests a chocolate demon that will make everybody fat. She berates him because they already tried a plan like that, then locks herself in Ares' tomb to pray for guidance. Jacen tries asking Ueki out on a date. She imagines him pawing all over her and to avoid that, says that Scott already asked her out. Embarrassed, Jacen pretends that he was asking Nabiki out, and she is thrilled. Scott refuses to be dragged along, but eventually agrees because it would be evil to let Ueki be molested by Jacen. They all go out to lunch and a movie, where Jacen keeps coming on to Ueki and Nabiki is all over Jacen. That evening, Nabiki announces that she reserved a hotel room, and drags Jacen away, leaving Scott and Ueki to walk by the seaside. The two of them make fun of Nabiki and Jacen before going home. Ueki admits that she had a nice time with Scott, and gives him a box of chocolate for Valentine's. Meanwhile at the love hotel, Jacen and Nabiki lay in bed together. He asks for his chocolate, so she throws him out of the room with just a pillow to cover himself. Artemis calls FireKaizer and BeastCzar into Ares' tomb and announces that she is going to give her Valentine gift now. She calls to Ares, and he consumes both of their souls, restoring himself to life. He tells Artemis that they cannot conquer Earth, and that she must destroy it instead. 35 - "Deadly Ziggurat! The One Who Rises Up To Touch Heaven" [RECAP] The Supernova flagship, Araboth, is descending towards the Earth. Corrina recognizes this as being what happened when Supernova decided to destroy her home planet, Aasu. All six G-Rangers summon their Mashins and form Great Alexander. The super-robot flies up to destroy the Araboth in a suicide attack. The Americans are planning to attack Supernova themselves. Nabiki goes to Washington, DC, to convince them to give the G-Rangers more time. In a long series of flashbacks, she recounts G-Ranger's fight against Supernova. Nabiki cannot convince them, so they launch their super missile "Babel" at the Araboth. Artemis takes over the missile's guidance system and sends it back down towards Washington. Great Alexander breaks off its attack to intercepts the missile in mid-air. It is detonated harmlessly over the city, but the G-Rangers and their Mashins are nowhere to be found... 36 - "Deadly Sacrifice! I Can't Live Without Him" During the night, Air Force jets open fire on the Araboth, inflicting heavy damage. Artemis curses the G-Rangers for disabling the Araboth's weapons battery in their attack. She prays to Ares for help, so he regurgitates BeastCzar Tarou's soul. Now he has become a giant minotaur monster, with parts of other animals spliced on him. Artemis laughs at the irony of the transformation and names him Taurus Tarou. Tarou goes outside and destroys the planes, then flies to Washington to take out the Air Force base. Ueki wakes up with her head in Scott's lap. Their Mashins had crashed in the same part of the city and he found her unconscious. He has no idea where the rest of the G-Rangers are. They nervously confess their love, but are interrupted by Tarou when they almost kiss. Ueki is too hurt to move, so Scott takes Jormungand and leads Tarou away from her. Jormungand and Tarou tear through the city fighting. Tarou mocks Scott, who is beginning to get reckless as the dark force wells up inside of him. As he starts to lose, Tarou flies up out of Scott's range and gets ready to fire an energy blast at the city. Scott screams in rage and frustration, then a pair of black wings grow out of his back. His Mashin also grows wings, and flies up at Tarou. Scott drags Tarou up into orbit. Ueki sees the two of them silhouetted against the moon. Tarou tries to randomly shoot at the Earth, but Scott manipulates gravity to draw his shots away. Not having any other way to stop Tarou, Scott forms a black hole which begins to pull in both Tarou and his Mashin. Ueki calls him and begs him not to sacrifice himself. He silently apologizes to Ueki for leaving her behind, and tells his family that he's going to meet them at last. Ueki watches as they both vanish into the black hole, which disappears afterwards. Sobbing, she cries out to Scott. 37 - "Deadly Reckoning! The Black Fire Called Evil is Closing In" After seeing Scott destroy Taurus Tarou in a suicide attack, Artemis berates Ares. She demands a stronger warrior, and Ares resurrects FireKaizer as Enma Scougall. He opens a portal to Hell and summons the Four Princes of the Underworld: Gilgamesh, a muscle-man; Enkidou, a beast-girl; Pazuzu, a bird-man; and Xong, a ghost-girl. The Four Princes track down four of the surviving G-Rangers all over the world while Enma Scougall goes to Tokyo to defeat Jacen once and for all. Jacen recognizes him as the one that killed his sister, the M-Hunter. The two agree that they need a final resolution, but Jacen insists they fight away from the city where nobody will be hurt. Artemis orders him to fight there and destroy the city, but Scougall says he has too much honor to do that. There is a lot of fighting. The Four Princes get enlarged and then merged together into one demon. Even though Zing, Konatsu, Ueki and Corrina combine their Mashins into V-Cleopatra, the fused demon is too powerful for her. As Scougall nearly overcomes Jacen, he calls out to the fire and gets a power-up, turning into Knight Fire. Enma Scougall is shocked by this transformation... 38 - "Deadly Justice! With a Little Help from my Friends" Fire Red was powered up into Knight Fire. With his new power, Jacen kills Enma Scougall, who admits that Jacen is the better man. Meanwhile, the Great Hell Emperor demon comes closer to destroying V-Cleopatra. The other G-Rangers are surprised when Buster-Ou, now transformed into Kenshi-Ou, flies in and destroys the demon with one hit. Jacen proclaims that they must now call him "Seven with one stroke", and sings his image song loudly when his teammates insist that there were only four demons. Artemis curses at Ares for giving her another weak minion, and demands the most powerful monster in the world. He laughs and transforms Artemis into a monster like Apollo. She descends to Earth and attacks the two giant robots. The battle goes on for a long time, but by attacking her from both sides at once, the G-Rangers destroy Artemis. Corrina is astounded, and explains that they've killed the infamous Emperor of Supernova. However, as they are congratulating each other, the Araboth appears from out of the clouds and opens fire on them, scattering the Mashins. Ares uses his power to combine with the Araboth and become a super-robot much larger than any of the G-Ranger robos... 39 - "Deadly Finale! To the Other Side of the Dream, Together" Ares merges with the Araboth to become a giant monster, Neo-Ares. He is much larger than Buster-Ou and V-Cleopatra, so they cannot beat him despite their best efforts. Neo-Ares powers up for his ultimate attack, and the G-Rangers all prepare to die. Just then, Neo-Ares is knocked off balance by a burst of firepower. The G-Rangers look over and see Scott flying Jormungand out of a black hole. They are all surprised that he is still alive, and Scott calls them naive for thinking that a black hole could kill him now when it didn't as a child. V-Cleopatra disassembles and all the Mashins recombine together. The G-Rangers focus their powers to create a six-element aura around Great Alexander. The robot flies up and punches a hole through Neo-Ares' chest, killing it. Afterward they all celebrate, but Corrina says that the war isn't over, and that she must destroy the "Nova Imperium" which was guiding Supernova. Nabiki agrees to start work on a new spaceship so she can go out into the universe again. Corrina asks the other G-Rangers to come with her, but they want to return to their lives on Earth. One year passes. Nabiki has rebuilt GRIT to use Supernova's technology for the good of mankind, Jacen has opened his own Kung Fu school, Konatsu has become a famous fashion model, Zing has earned billions of dollars on computer software, Scott writes best-selling novels and Ueki runs a flower shop. However, one day Jacen is not in the training hall, Konatsu misses a photo shoot, Zing does not show up for work and Ueki stands Scott up when they had a date. As Corrina prepares for liftoff, four of the G-Rangers come running after her, wanting to come along. Nabiki shows up, visibly pregnant, and says that she can't come because of her condition, but tells Jacen to create a universe of peace for their child. Ueki is sorry that Scott didn't come with them, but then he shows up hidden in the shadows, and says that he doesn't trust them to save the universe by themselves. He and Ueki kiss for a long time, and then all six G-Rangers take off for outer space.
