I won't be putting absolutely *everything* here - for example, the rants / comments space on the main page will probably also be used for giving news on homepage updates, which wouldn't be so interesting to save for posterity on this page. That said, on with the show.

...I give up.
It doesn't seem to matter how fired up I get, I never do anything worthy of putting on this page anymore. I hardly ever do anything useful or creatuve at *all*. Instead, life has become a routine of work, and, outside of work, doing nothing of note. I don't write, I don't draw, and whatever poetry I had in me has long fled. About all it is I ever do is feed whatever my latest obsession is and occasionally post to my LiveJournal. I've fallen out of contact with more people than I'll never know again, it angers and depresses me, and I never do anything about it.
Once upon a time it seemed I was writing Impro chapters ever few weeks and emailing people all over the place. But that's all changed. Not too long ago, I couldn't even write a chapter for Reforming Evil Can Be Tricky. *The* chibi-impro, known for lack of continuity and silliness, and I couldn't write a chapter for it.
I keep on telling myself to get better, to get better sleep, to stop wasting all my time on Neverwinter Nights or whatever my latest obsession is, and does it ever happen? No. It doesn't.
In case anyone's interested, the Quotes page has been updated. But, honestly, who is?
And just in case anyone is still interested in this webpage, you might as well give up on it. Unless I get a personality transplant or something, I probably won't be updating it in any major way ever again.

In this update I have added in a few new quotes on the Quotes page. Where else?
I honestly don't know why I have the page of quotes. It would perhaps be a little more on topic and more interesting if they were quotes *I* was involved in, yet there is only one. (In which I said "stone that for a kettle of fish".) Collecting interesting and or humourous quotes is just something I do, and at one point I decided to put the collection up.
Part of why there are so few quotes in which I am involved in is because I am a social recluse and don't talk to people as much as I should. Even on the 'net, where you can be as anonymous as you like.
In other news, I have updated my LiveJournal a few times since the last Rant here, yet not touched the Rants here. It is just so much easier to update the LJ. I feel frustrated by this. I *want* to update this page more. But whenever I have something I want to rant about or comment, I almost instinctively go for the "update LJ" option. Bah, and fie.
I shall be updating the Impro page soon - I have after all recently written chapter 21 of Saving the World Again. I'm just waiting to see what happens with chapter 21 of RECBT. I don't *want* to skip, but if I can't get an extension then I'll have to. I simply was not able to write the past few days. Friday was nasty and the weekend... was mostly a washout. Literally.
We shall see.

Hey ho, here I go, resurrecting my old Rants section. It will probably be mainly rants about my webpage and the trials and tribulations it puts me through, as I have my LiveJournal for more personal rants and comments. Truth be told, I'm not sure how viable having a Rant column here will be, but it's something I want to give another go.
Truth be told, I'm not so sure about that LiveJournal anymore. Three or so years ago, it was all the rage amongst the Improfanficcers, and I was swept along on the wave of all the IFF regulars starting up LiveJournals. But part of why this webpage has been so neglected is precisely because of the LiveJournal - it's so much easier to update the LJ with my current thoughts, instead of writing them up, HTMLing them, and uploading them manually.
I have also felt restricted because I have wanted to make my webpage accessible to all browsers. However, while that may have been a significant concern back in 1996, it is now 2003, seven years later. Microsoft won the Browser Wars and Netscape became bad anyway. I will start messing around with tables, at the very least. If this page causes your browser to explode - well, you're using a very old browser. I suggest updating.
But the main reason my webpage has been neglected over the past couple of years is because I was just lazy, and discovered things like the wonders of the Dreamcast, Skies of Arcadia, Deus Ex, Neverwinter Nights and Harmony of Dissonance. It has also been neglected because I just haven't felt creative or inspired for a very long time. It is easier to Consume than it is to Create, after all.
One of my New Year Resolutions has been to stop being so damn lazy and actually start doing things again. So shall I? It remains to be seen.
In the meantime, restarting this Rants / Comments section feels like a good start.
