TRADITIONAL 2IN1 COMBOS -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- The 2in1 combo is the original combo technique. It was a bug in the original Street Fighter 2, but it has became so popular that's now an integral feature of the gameplay in all Capcom fighting games. The way this technique works is to do a normal move, and then do a special move after the move has hit. The normal move normally has to be retracted after hitting, during which time you are vulnerable; but if you do the special move while the first move is recovering, the first move is cut off and your character goes straight into the second move. This traditional technique exists in Gem Fighter as well. However, the only normal standing moves that can be cancelled into special or super moves are crouching punches (D+P) and crouching kicks (D+K). The 2in1 is also called cancelling (for cancelling a normal move into another move) and buffering (because you buffer the motion for the second move while the first move is being done.)
