Chapters Inna Hour

Simply put, the 'Chapters In An Hour' project was an attempt to get me writing again. Oftentimes, I feel I never have the time to devote to writing anymore. Part of the problem is that I take a very long time when writing something, editing the hell out of it as I write it. While this is good on some levels, it does slow me down a lot, I lose spontaneity, and it can take me an hour to do just one page.
And then I had a thought. "What if," it went, "I allowed myself just one hour to write a chapter?" I have acted on this idea, and it's forced me to write as fast as I can, and have worked out the plot in advance. It doesn't take up too much of my day, either.
The downside, of course, is that the end results usually end up looking like shit. I hope to, after a story has been written with this system, go back and edit it then.
Rogue Demon Thiesra is an idea I've had for a very long time. Thiesra herself comes from an older story idea, dating back to 1993. That never got off the ground, but the idea of writing a story about her specifically has been around since at least 1996. I am finally writing that story.
She has appeared in The Outcast, a short story I wrote in 1996. She has also appeared as a character in Vampire Legend R, which ran, approximately, from late 1998 to 2000.
