I'm a twenty-seven year old Australian originally hailing from Canberra, and have ended up in Brisbane for the past several years, and will probably stay here for at least a few more. After that, who knows? I'd like to try living in Sydney sometime, and see about working overseas as well - when and how I have no idea.
I am currently working as a computer programmer for Origin Energy, which, as the name suggests, is an energy company. I support and develop invoicing software. There's not much more I can say about that.
When I'm not sitting behind a computer screen coding and debugging, I'm doing a lot of other stuff. I participate in GRIT, Improfanfic and Indie Madnesse; draw and write a bit, and read voraciously; I am a manga and anime fan; an avid (if slightly behind the times, but catching up) videogame player; am one stage below black belt in Tae Kwon Do (the Bai Rui school); and I try to fit answering e-mail in there somewhere too.
I obviously can't do all that at once, so it rotates a bit as the mood takes me. ^_^
And last, but certainly not least, I am a fan of Japan and things Japanese in general. I've spent a total of seven years in the country, once when I was very young and the next time when I was a young teenager. Spending that much time and a significant portion of my formative years there has left its mark. I very much want to go back and spend some more time in Japan, and see it through older eyes and not just through old memories. When and how I have no idea, though. ^_^
