Jo, Jacen, Jei, J2, Mist, Tarou, Loshin, Hitomi, Kaasha, Jay, Kappa, Steve, Wing, Scott, Konatsu, Zing, Ueki (U-chan), Al-X, Ikiban, Stackpole, Shuttle(first appearance), Chyron, Kei, Nikita, Ukkyo, Amy, Hellena Handbasket, Sukeko Kumahara, Stark, Mizue, Tsurugi, Fafa, various raving lunatics (first appearance) and Zoe (first appearance) (forgive me if I forgot anyone) While flying over China with everyone but those in Ireland on the shuttle they picked up an unexpected geust in the form of Stackpole. His unusual entrance caused come weird effects which apparently gave the federation Shuttle sentience. The group arrived in Hokkaido where they decided to take a little breather. Mist had a talk with Jo about various topics and was later joined by Tarou where they discusssed the nature of the quest. Before Tarou returned with most of the Ireland crew Jacen showed up with Sukeko in tow. When the three groups met Jacen was revealed to be the Knight of Fire (despite Kappa's protests). Later Al-X returned as well, with Ikiban following unnoticed. Al and U-chan ran into each other and managed to reconcil their differences for a little while at least. Once Mist and Tarou convinced Jo to halt the quest for a time so they could train and prepare a better strategy the GRITers moved into the city and took over a hotel there. Various interludes occured with the GRITers meeting each other on the roof (many times) and in the hallways. Hellena Handbasket showed up at one point and became infatuated with Mist. The next morning the Nerimites awoke to discover a kind of convention had take over their hotels and the near-by streets. It turned out the people at the convention were various cultists, fans and other worhsippers of the Nerimans and refered to them as the New Gods on Earth (ussually giving themsleves silly titles in the process). The GRITers had to deal with their insane fans and despite several very embarrassing predicaments, a dispute over copyrights and an all out battle between the followers of Akane and Amy they managed to get away with their sanity intact. Steve and Wing escaped to nearby rooftop where they discussed the fact that Wing seems to have very odd wholes in his memory. Not sure what to do about this the two retured to the shuttle. There a certain fangirl name Zoe showed up somehow. Jacen, U-chan, Al-X and Sukeko stayed behind to go back to the Ainu village. The group then boarded the shuttle where they flew to an isle in the pacific owned by Mist. There Mist and Tarou trained the various GRITers in team tactics for a week until they were ready to leave. Jo had a mysterious dream about a city under a dome of ice and Mist discovered that something was blocking his ability to track the Keys. Mist also revealed that someone may have stolen a very powerful magic item from his island recently. Chyron heard about Jo's dream and ordered the group to make preperations to go to Antartica.
